Basically you set a challenge (as Mr BD is doing but it doesn't have to be quite so specific) by stating a certain Pts limit and if you want what sort of battlefield conditions/mission you'd want to play on. A custodian should pop his head up at some point to help you but essentially your making an army list to the agreed limit and it'll be posted up with your opponents. You can add tactics in order for people to vote on who they would think might win in the match, there have been rumours of making the Battlefield more interactive/real time but I can't imagine that will be coming this side of summer. |

No need for models, its just a list that you devise yourself compared head to head with your opponents' list(s) Thats Why I come up with the whackish possible lists. | Re: I'm calling you out, Spikey!!! I'm not sure if its still going but in Battlefield40K ver.1 there were 3 different categories to play a match in. Alpha: an army list of whatever you wanted no matter how power-gamey Gamma: army list and appropriate fluff background (cut down on power gaming lists) Omega: you actually had to own the models and show proof that your collection matched the army list (no one ever fought in this category) I think they've been scrapped for the freedom of Alpha, but you can always stipulate in your challenge that the army must be an actual one I suppose. What I've done in the past is post up a few army lists, gather feedback and alter them accordingly then after a couple of weeks use those refined lists in Battlefield. |
