Exclamation What is BF40k (Rules and FAQs)

BATTLEFIELD 40K
2nd Edition

What
is BF40K- The Concept of War

Battlefield 40k is essentially is simply a challenge game of numerically and statistically refined warfare. This is practically 'Math-Hammer'. Battlefield40k bolsters members who make up army lists and challenges another individual. Then spectators will look at the lists and decide who they think will win the battle. Spectators of war then analyze both the scenario of the Battlefield and the Army lists of both generals and state their point of views and vote for the general who they think will win the battle.

Essentially this is:
ARMY LIST v. ARMY LIST
BATTLES

Why play?

-For entertainment
-Test out those Army lists that would nearly cost you a fortune! See how your army does!
-Bragging Rights - Simply - you just want to own.
-A great way to get some reputation.
-Tournaments = Prizes

How to get a started?

All you need to do is look for an opponent seeking another individual out to battle. They will usually setup a points size game, and tell what army they are using. You will then both agree to the match, then ask a 'Custodian' to host the battle. You and your opponent will then send the list to the custodian and then they will setup your battle.

WHO RUNS THE GAME? - CUSTODIANS

The Organizers of the Battlefield will be the CUSTODIANS. They have the highest authority in this realm.

Custodians will:
-Host Matches
-Review Army lists
-Clear up rules
-Tally and finalize votes
-Rule the land

They will regulate the warfare, host, and keep things clean and running. They have the right to change rules as they see fit, but surely fair. They are here to let you have fun, and keeps things going.

BASIC UNIVERSAL RULES:
Army Lists represent YOUR army. The objective of this game is to convince the audience that your list will seriously stomp your opponent. But how should you do it? This is the Rules and Guideline for List Building for your own personal use. Rules must be followed, while Guidelines are only suggestions, and not mandatory. Though any Custodian has the right to reject you list if they do not like the composition!

Generic Army List Composition Rules:
1.) Army lists will be created less than or equal to the agreed amount of points match, no excess amount of points will be accepted!

2.) Every Army will use the most recent and up-to-date edition of their Codex. No late edition rules and point costs will be accepted on this ground.

3.) There are units/armies/rules that must have the consent of your opponent: (If a ‘no’ is given, then these units are not allowed in the match)
-Forgeworld & Chapter Approved armies and/or units. (For Example: Armoured Company, Kroot Mercs., etc. )
-Special Characters

4.) Do not Post individual model - Wargear costs. Take the Points of the OVERALL unit. Doing so is copyright on individual point costs.

5.) You must state your army, specifically. For Example, If you are playing a Divergent Chapter, you must state all your traits. If you are playing doctorined guard, you state all your Doctorines.

This eliminates the open possibilities that can vary armies, and make people uncertain.

How to participate as a spectator: Voting:

To vote simply go to the battle, and then state:

-Your vote: BOLD & RED FONT on who you think is going to win.
-Reason

Determining the Winner:
The winner of the battle will be the general with the most votes.
