Thumbs up Rebel Winter

I'll make this short; go read this book. It was a great read and I recommend this book to any 40k fan. Only problem I had with it was wanting to start a Vostroyan army, which I can't afford

Ya rebel winter was good but too short. I really hope BL continues with the books about different IG regiments.

I just finished Death World (Catachan) and about start Desert Raiders (Tallarn). So far these single shot IG novels are awesome.

hey guys, i didn't see this section of the site, beware, i have read alot of BL. i agree with the above quotes.

rebel winter was awsome, and it opens for a sequel in the end, i loved it. the only single shot book for ig i have read other than this is its predeccessor, fifteen hours, which i think sucked. i can't quite put my finger on it, but i just think it did.

Rebel winter was excellent! I like 15 hrs but it was kinda a ww2 story. its the story of Stalingrad. In Stalingrad the Nazis were stuck and surrounded in freezing cold with only airdrops to re-supply (the line in the book about them dropping condoms really happened in Stalingrad) The city of Stalingrad was invaded to provide oil for the Werhmacht. Personally i like when they take stories from ww2

This book is fething great! You'll hold your breath through the entire thing, just waiting to see how it turns out. You'll sigh in relief at the end, but gasp when you read the very last two pages. Ok, maybe you won't, but I was on a roll with the breathing stuff. I hope the author thinks about writing more books for the Black Library.
