|  Soul Drinkers A while back, i picked up a copy of the Bleeding Chalice, i really enjoyed it...had a distinct twist to the standard SM of the Imperium...the Soul Drinkers actually broke free from the Imperium control and became the first "free" SM chapter, ie. renegades. Well, i finished the book and then realized it was the 2nd book...i didn't read the 1st! D'oh! Fusterated, i put the book away and forgot about it...for a few years...fastforeward... I bought the Soul Drinker Omnibus 2 weeks ago...i has all 3 of the Soul Drinkers books combined into one...i'm more than half-way through and luckly, i forgot most of the book that i did read... Anyway, if you enjoy reading WH novels, this one is sweet...free SM and they're not Chaos...finally! there's also the fourth book out now...seems that there a lil civil war brewing in the Soul Drinker chapter itself...oughta be fun-stuff!

Blog Entries: 6 | The 4th book in the series is called 'Chapter War' now, ive read the whole set so far, and i have to say im impressed. im a big abnett fan, and ive just finsihed reading brothers of the snake. awesome book. anyway, the soul drinkers set. well, i have to admit its a fairly orignal angel, and an angel i quite like. i dont think the 4th book was a let down, espically as it seem to have set the stage for Itiknos. and my only question so far is whats to come. and io thought emenues, alough alittle blown out of character in the 4th book was still very cool. and i like the fack that Saprhedon killed the Pre-cog. all in all, id have to recomend it to anyone lookinmg for a good set of SM books to read

Blog Entries: 1 | Re: Soul Drinkers i loved the onimbus...except for the excerpt from chapter war. enummes was totally and radically changed from my opinion of his character, i was like "dude, he has mental and anger issues now? WTF." i liked the itkinos warrior chappel though, but the astropath was strange. anyways, i got two more points to make. 1. my fav scene is when tellos breaks free from the rubble on entymon, only to be cyclone bombed by the inquisition. 2. i want to get chapter war to finish this!

Blog Entries: 1 | Re: Soul Drinkers Dead threading here.  I borrowed Chapter War from a friend without reading the first 3 books. Even without that, I thought it was a great read. I'm sure all the treachery would have been even more meaningful if I'd read the first 3, but it was still pretty profound. Any one else have any thoughts?

| Re: Soul Drinkers I have only read the first two and started the third but stopped to read a Alpha legion,i was going back to it when i got Wolfs Honour and beingthe SW junkie i am i have to read it first. But ya they are really good Books
