 |  Tau: Red Commies or Ancient Chinese Profits Well I know that some gamers at my gaming store got in a debate about this question, and Im sure its been asked. but are the Tau Communists or Chinese Profits? Examples: Commies: For the Greater Good, the belief of the collective fighting for the common good for the people Chinese Profits: They use a cast system based on Fire, Water, Air, and Earth all of which derive from Chinese profits (I believe) Those are just a few examples LMK |

Definitely strong communist over tones for the Tau, but it's also somewhat of a dictatorship (with almost every Tau obeying the Ethereals, even if it is complete lunacy) and of course it has the cast system. Tau are really a Pick 'n Mix of quite a few different ruling philosophies. |

Every Tau gives all he can, because he can, and receives what he needs, because he needs it. I would have to lean a bit more towards the Red Communist, given that they believe in an ideologically impossible dream: Every race under one banner, seeking to do what's best for the society. While the Tau may have made this work, you cannot bring every race in the galaxy to do that. It's already falling apart. Just look at Farsight.
