|  Hive Tyrant- Weapon choices Hiya, i was just having such a hard time deciding which way to go with my 4th ed hive tyrant as i already have a 3rd ed which i converted into a flyrant,i think (flyrants have scything talons, wings, toxin sacs, and anything else?). I was wondering what guns to give my gunrant which would be running around with three tyrant guards. I was thinking gunfex style which would be venom cannon and barbed strangler or dakkafex style, 2 twin linked devourers which would give me 12 shots at 18" reroll miss and wounds. I already have a gunfex, a dakkafex, converting a uberfex, and converting a MIxed CC devourer fex. So with this many options to choose from whaddya think? |

| Re: Hive Tyrant- Weapon choices go dakka-dakka!!! honestly, nothing really beats out the 2x twin-linked devourer option... living ammo is damn sweet. plus, with the twin-linking, you don't have to take the enhanced senses option which does allow you to take warp blast for dealing with tanks if you're lacking solid anti-tank elsewhere. now if you really want to be brutal, put the wings on your dakka-rant and now you pop-up and ambush enemy units who thought they where safe! cheers!
