Blog Entries: 1 | I wasn't sure where to put this, but anyway... Has anyone played a Nidzilla army, or do any of you play a Nidzilla army. If so, could you offer up your opinions on it, it's strengths and weaknesses etc |

| i dont know much about them, but what i do know id be happy to share. its a fun variant to play i dont think it has a very high win rate, also in victory points matches and objective point matches it really hurts to lose a unit that you have put alot of points into. I assume you mean that you would use two tyrants, full carnifex and few troops correct? i would recommend raveners for objective based matches hope i helped mickeyman

Blog Entries: 1 | True. I hope that you didn't think that I want to play it, I just find that my army has difficulty against it sometimes if the terrain doesn't go my way.

| the best thing to do, if you ask men (though I've never played againt nidzilla) is to get 4 missile dev squads, and as few tanks as possible (unless they sport lots of barbed stranglers) give EVERY sarge in your army powerfists and get a libarian might of heroes or veil of time for HQ. Its a cheap trick, but I think the libarian sounds like a good HQ anyways.

| one of my friend plays nidzilla. >>6<< carnifexes, 2 hive tyrants with full guard, aaaand Da Red Terror. 4x 16man (man? eh..) hormagunt squads to run in last couple turns to grab objectives. this is a VERY scary army to play. its funny to hear him say "yes..a standard game, and i will be using tyranids." and see the look on his opponants face when he brings out 9 monstrous creatures. its hard to play with, but hard to beat if you have a balanced army. if you play against tank heavy armies, same philosophy. lots of lascannons and missle launchers hurt, but again. balanced armies, which most people have, generally wont have enough heavy weapons (or landspeeder tornados. lots of assault cannons also hurt) to beat it. |
