   |  Number of hive tyrants Right, ive looked in the tyranid codex, and i cant find any limit on the amount of hive tyrants available per army. I have heard from somewhere that there is a amaximum of 2, but is this true?

Blog Entries: 4 | well the maximum HQ choice for any full sized army (1.5 to 2k) is 2 HQ slots. each tyrant and its retinue is 1 slot, so yeah 2 tyrants

I make the most of my computer time by reading manga, reading book, browsing this forum, writing my fluff, drawing, and photoshopping... usually all at around th same time (draw a few lines, then edit some PS, and stuff) so i'm quick on the pickup anyways your welcome and enjoy ^^

nastiest tyrant i've yet seen in action is the "quick-draw" tyrant with 2x twin-linked devourers, enhanced senses, toxin sacs & psychic scream for the added psychological effect! fairly cheap pst wise and still decent in assault when supported with pretty much anything. queenie will dish out 12 shots each turn and will re-roll missed to-hit rolls & to-wound rolls!!! (even meq's will die in droves under that kind of firepower.) oh, and adding on wings is simply being cruel to your poor opponent! cheers!
