| First I don't play nids, but what i just thought of makes my head hurt, playing dawn of war, select your objective as close to your boardedge as possible, then take 20 termaguants with fleshborers and without number (220pts?) then fill out army as you please, on deployment place 20 gaunts on objective, and send rest of army to theirs, if gaunts are slaughtered, bring them back in on next turn, on the objective, if you have last turn, you will not lose objective, this is so broken, I need a drink

| Confused and Enraged ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It'll be hard to find an objective so close to the table edge that the gaunts will be able to contest it as soon as they enter the table. In most cases the gaunts will need to pass a Ld5 instinctive behaviour test or they'll fall back towards the nearest synapse creature (in which case they won't be able to contest the objective...I think). For this to work effectively you'll need to keep a synapse unit close to said objective to control the gaunts when they come back, which I doubt anyone will be doing as they'll be a lot more useful elsewhere. |
