Default A basic content outline for the Inquisitor Magazine

Okay.. We're lookign at making this big Terrans.. Here is the proposed content... I want your advice on how many/much of each we should put in.

How-To Articles
Painting
Terrain
Battle Reports
Fluff (GW sanctioned AND fan fiction)
Rules Dev.
Current Events (new codex review, rumor & news, Gamesday and other convention summaries, etc..).
Interviews(with torunment/contest winners @ Gamesday, etc..)

That would be our basic format/categories. Sound good?

Maybe someone contact Celestial Guardian and have him make it? Something relating to Apocalypse?

And should we just have it be a monthly contest? Where old Entries get ptu back in for the next month, new get added, etc.. That way we always have a healthy list?

not necessarily, just write the words you decide see page whatever diagonally across the cover and then do a little blog thing in the editorial about how the members will chose the cover art by a competition or something.

The cover contest is a great idea. If you have everyone vote for the next issues cover, you have to decide first if you want it to be themes with the articles inside. Not everyone themes them this way though.

Comic books ususally have a cover that has nothing to do with the story inside, the cover is simply to grab attention.

One thin I learned is this: the more the reader is involved in construction, the more readers you get.

Good luck on this guys

i agree with celestial - the more reader participation you have, the more readers youll get.

id go for a good mix of themes/subjects in each issue, with a focus on somethin different from issue to issue. so the next issue could have balanced content + a bit more dedicated to conversions. the issue after that could deidicate a bit more to house rules or whatever. this way theres something for everyone but a different flavour every 'month'

Do a "Tell Us What You Want" Section and a rules interpretation Q&A section.

Possibly, but we should do that in conjunction with the tell us what you want section. that way we can still control the course of it. and include something REALLY COOL if it comes along.
