| Trooper   |  Clan Company Crawler I plan to make an iron hands clan company crawler which the way i see it is similer to this only much larger since it would be home and training ground to a company of marines.

| Trooper | Re: Clan Company Crawler dunno but its not big enough, i need something massive enough for an intire company to house, train and store weapons and equipment as well as assosiated armour units. And i was thinking 8 legs to easily move acrost the volcanic feilds of madusa. (oh and at-sts have 2 legs not 4 i think you mean the at-at)

| Trooper | Re: Clan Company Crawler what misprint i dident see a misprint. and ya i know its ambitious but i really want to do it. i am probably going to use foamcore or styrospan for most of it then line it with plasticard when i am done. i will probably make lifts on the underside for tanks and a hatch on top for land speeders.

| Re: Clan Company Crawler you might want to think of maybe a wood frame and fill it in with foamcore and detail it in sheet styrene(plasticard) with a structure that large you might need something sturdier than foamcore

| Trooper | Re: Clan Company Crawler the reason i chose to do it this way is because the iron hands don't have a fortress monastarty each clan company travels the surface in these crawlers soince it is not possible to make perminant structures on madusa since it is so volcanicly active.

| Re: Clan Company Crawler Good Luck with that my friend. I would only ask that you modify that old Void Vehicle to all heck and back for an Iron Hands mobile fortress. I wouldn't make it look so "organic", i know I know it sounds weird, but it kinda looks like a turtle or something. I wouldn't base it off an animal I would try and think up somthing more orginal or at least mor machine like. Ohh and for the feet I would recomend Treads, think Johny 5 from Short circut. If it actually walked that would make for a very bumpy ride for the company inside. My two cents, Servo |
