Blog Entries: 3 | I think the gold could use something, though what I'm not sure of. particularly on the noise marine top left, with the shoulder pad. It may be the angle, but it just looks funny. Good job though.

| The picture doesnt do it justice. the gold looks nice, but it was done in a hurry. Im now going back and repainting my noise marines, going with an entire new army. I cant resist the sirens call any longer. I found the old colors still wet in a few old paint jars from the dreads I popsted, so now Im trying to match them and my entire army will be that color theme. Im also using P3 colors. Im using a cool highlite for my black, adding turguoise, a little at a time. then go to ice blue for a sharp highlight. Test models look extremely good with the purple armor. |

| As far as wanting to get to top notch painting, it just takes time. Ive been painting on and off for the last 15 years. My first models dont look anything like the ones I paint now, thank god... I started out just dry-brushing everything, then ventured out trying other techniques a little at a time. Sooner or later you'll find the one you will stick with as a main. Mine is lining I guess you would call it. When I paint I do it in flowing lines with a layering technique. Look at the Slaanesh DP I posted in the gallery section, you'll see what Im talking about. I still need to learn how to blend a little better with multiple thinned down coats. |
