Daemon Hunter Inquisitor w/ Psycannon

How do you guys model it? I recently bought a model http://store.us.games-workshop.com/s...032&GameNav=10 the one in the far left corner, with his hood and sword into the ground. How would you give him a Psycannon keeping WYSIWYG in mind.

I'm not the best modeller around, but you could probably chop off the barrel of the gun he's holding and replace it with a different barrel. You could use the chopped off barrel of a Grey Knight psycannon, or use a regular bolter barrel, or even a predator's autocannon barrel. Psycannons come it all different shapes and sizes... just like Inquisitors...

I would try doing a shoulder mounted psycannon like inquisitor Covenant from the inquisitor range. All you should need is a Culexus eye peice and something from a vehicle sprue but I'm not sure what off the top of my head. It could go on his right shoulder as it is exposed completely and the gun cradle should be on a space marines vehicle sprue i think.

Yeah I forgot about that option. You can use either the pintle-mounted storm bolter mount or the hunter-killer missile mount from the SM vehicle sprue, although that might be a bit large. I think the Covenant psycannon has its own mount, too, if you wanted to use that.

Well a psycannon is based on modified bolt guns so a storm bolter with a little extra GS detail or some other nice little bit of decroation and painted all showey like to make it stand out.

Of course you'll have to tell your opponent so he don't get confused.

I agree. This is the main point of converting: making it look special/cool, and simply letting our opponent know beforehand that the weapon looks different because it is, and what the rules are.

you can't just slap a storm bolter on that guys shoulder though it will be far too big. think how dumb yarrick can look at times. Maybe cut the storm bolter in half and stick the culexus eye piece on as the barrel you'd have to experiment.
