Blog Entries: 4 | The Farseer looked up coming out of his trance...finally he could decipher the runes-but what did it mean? Death was amongst them, the message was clear as anything but he sensed no pain from the Craftworld, no shock or horror eminating in the general psyche of the Eldar as they went about their business...deeper he searched probing here and there then blank-there was a nothingness where there should have been somthing-all he sensed was the feeling of death, destruction and morbid fascination and....humour? Escorted by his cadre of Warlocks the Farseer hurried to the location of these thoughts, to the home of a lowly individual, one following the Artisan path, the door was already ajar stepping inside the Farseer came face to face with Death incarnate...... a Margorach (Death Jester) simply stared back at him-its grinning skull mask staring impersonaly back at him. A figure unseen before stepped forward they hadnt been hiding they simply had not wanted to be seen "He is part of the dance now - a brother of the troupe, you shall forget he was ever here and no mention of his name shall ever be made again" the Athesdan (Shadowseer) spoke. The room blurred for just a split second and then they were gone..... ![]() Bought this guy at the weekend-wanted to have a go at doing detail work (diamond patterns on the trousers), I also got the Shadowseer model (cause its amazing) but did this guy first as a practice. I know hes not that good but I like it-might expand to do a full troupe!! |

Blog Entries: 1 | one question i have as i'm gonna tackle some harlies sooner of later is this; how insanely difficult was it to get the checks to go roung the curves on the trousers? is it a pain to get them to line up neatly on the other side?

Blog Entries: 4 | Its a slow process-drew/painted each diamond individualy-forget that technique they show in the codex about drawing lines-its fine if the piece is flat and huge (like a vehicle) and you want black out lines on each diamond but on this colour scheme that doesnt work! Also if you check the casting state of the figures before you buy them-this one was still very rough and needed quite a lot of finishing-and it was the best one in the shop-not sure if its because of the increased deatil levels but the quality is right down on this entire range? |
