|  golden demon '08 well, yesterday was our games day and i put up 2 entires for the staff catagories... my sentinel didn't make the cut sadly  but, this little fellow came runner-up for staff single minature! (so, so very close!>.<) anyways, here's my (almost) winning model; lamenterscodicier.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting well, next year i hope to have some 1ksons and perhaps i'll revisit sauron and make him all spiffy and blended!? cheers!

| Re: golden demon '08 thaks guys! i hadn't actually painted that guy up for something like demon - he was more of a standout model in my guard army. (counted as an inquisitor lord's acolyte in power armour.) next year i plan to actually build/paint some stuff up specifically to win! and for the record, i placed 4th. but i did get a shiny pin! cheers!

| Re: golden demon '08 thaks prince, rellik  next year i vow to bring the holy slayer sword itself home to GW burlington! i think the eldar will provide me with the best chance - absolutely beautiful sculpts with lots of room for really going to town on the blending/highlighting! depending on how some of my vehicles turn out, i might have a thousand sons entry as well - perhaps i'll order that heresy-era upgrade pack for the land raider?!  cheers!

I can see some of the issues i'm sure the judges had with it (alhtough some of it may be excess overhead lighting).
