, thats so cool, and easy to do. You could make entire men with this process. OK, it may take up an entire block of greenstuff, but that would be soo useful!!! Im going to go a step further and create a 2-part mould to make some legs and stuff. This is really going to help my custodians that im starting again.+Rep for posinting this out Erus ![]()

| i've experimented a little with this myself! this is how dave taylor was able to get alot of iconography for his own custodians... the 'eavy metal team's keith robertson also uses this method for casting hoards of purity seals! (though i can tell you they're a right bugger to clean up due to their titchy size!) it does use up/waste a good bit of green stuff though, but if you're carefull you can keep that waste to a minimum. ![]() vegitable oil is good to use, and i find doesn't take quite as much washing afterwards! (if you can get canola oil, it's even better!) i've got one of these molds made up for turning out imperial eagle icons and it works pretty good... if you want icon that can fold around armour plates and such - use the mk7 space marine chest, otherwise any old banner top will do just fine! cheers!

Blog Entries: 1 | Well in the thought of self preservation, not realy beardy. I don't think it is that beardy. You made a great sonic blaster and you want another. 1 hour later Hmm, something went wrong, I think. I followed the directions and the grenades turned out as grenade shaped lumps without detail. What went wrong? Last edited by Templar Mikeel; 02-10-2007 at 01:23 AM. |

| The Omnissiah ![]() ![]() | To get full detail, you need to apply lots of pressure. Remember to use the oil else you going to be stuck with one solid peice of Greenstuff!! The more pressure you apply, the higher the chance you have of getting all that detail. Another tip i would give is dont even try and copy Forgeworld stuff... ...way too detailed!

Neal at the Warstore, www.thewarstore.com sells green stuff in larger size quantities (and consequently cheaper per unit prices) for those of you who have some extensive modeling in mind. | |
