Default How to.... Unclog an airbrush

Hi Folks

I've been playing around with a dual action airbrush and think the nozzle (.03mm) must be clogged somehow. Is there any solution that can clear the jam or other action that can be done. I've stripped it down and put it back together and that the only thing I couldn't clean directly.

I've only used GW paints and applebarrel in it so far....

Cheers and thanks in advance

Hot water and liquid soap.

If that doesn't work, try paint thinners (but plastic and paint will melt if you spray paint thinners on them, so make sure to clean and dry it thoroughly afterwards)

hot water and soap might not do anything, but the paint thinners sure will, also you could try rubbing alcohol i know it takes gw paint off No Problem!

If you take it apart and get a little bit to flow you can use the ISOPROPYL Alcohol (no drinking from the air brush you!!!) in the feeder tube and help get any "left overs"!

Hot water and soap helps unclog my brushes, and anyway it can't hurt to try it.

You could always throw it up against the wall and collect the little pieces and put them in your bits box for a later use.

Seriously though, the rubbing alcohol should work just fine.
