I'm back and got some pics

Ok ive been ghosting aound these forums due to many projects and have finally had the time to take a few pics. The laptop in the background is a new one so now I can finnally play games yay me.

But on to the pics the building, predator, whirlwhing, the skullpass and one of the attack bikes I got for christmas and you can see are at various stages of being made.

I also finally found the micro setting halfway through taking pics yay.

I also took a picture of the gimli which I think has been my best model ever excpet maybe for the face but I was never good at that.

Well their not the best painted minis ever and compared to others I feel like throwing them in a pit of fire but then I remember that would be stupid were would I get a fire like that.

In fact no these are the best models EVER.
If you can't see this then you must have fallen under the powers of chaos and should be purged.

Oh and yes I have lost my sanity complelty.

They are Table top quality, dont be to down on yourself sure there's room for improvement, sure, but we can all say that whatever level! You have cetainly been a busy boy ! I dont know how long they took you, but I could certainly do to get a blast on!

you should try use inks/washes for everything and not just skin (as seems to be the case on the space wolves)

try work on neatness - neat basecoats mean most of your work is already done!

but overall agreat start

Well I have been searching and found the old rune priest when I compare it I recon the new one is sooo much better maybe its jsut because of the pelt colour idk

Are you using white to undercoat?


I think they look cool btw, the flash has gone off in some pics, that never helps!!

for 7 of the space wolves yes (first ones and for the drednaught I thought it would be better but went against it and sued black which turns out better.

yeah I prefer a black undercoat as well, I find you have to work harder with a white under coat to get it to look right.

Yer I thought it would have been easier with a white due to lightish nature of the armour but then found out it was more work. However Yes I stick to a white undercoat for shoulder pads due to yellow for me being immpossible to do over a black under coat.

Hopefully my 2 attack bikes in process will turn out well.

NOTICE

Ok just a few things I wanted to say about the army

1. I chose to distinguish the driver of the rhinos as not wholey party of the chapter anymore due to being trained by the adeptus mechanius with the red on the top of the helmet.
2. To show the higher rank of the Grey Hunters tank I went with a plume on the tank drivers head which was amde out of an axe.

Yer bacially just a short to explain the red.

D.C. has good advice when it comes to base coats. If the models base colors are sloid looking than the model is easier to paint.

For me, no matter what color I am trying to obtain, I always use a primer color of black, as this gives me instant depth to the model.

I like what you have done with the army so far, keep it up.

yer I do use black as an undercoat now except for when painting yellow

yay house is the best tv show glad to see you like it, as for the minis you can strip them if you want, but thin your colors for them and look for some tutorials on basic highlighting and stuff you can ask me if you want a way to make red glowy lenses for you marines
