Leman Russ Heavy Bolter! - 40K Terra

So I'm going with the hull heavy bolter on my demolisher. I was just curious how some of you went about it.

There's that small one that fits on that little window on the side of the hull, but then that just leaves an empty space where the Lascannon would go. Are there peices to cover that space up? Should I just chop the lascannon off the cylander and clue a heavy bolter to it?

How do you guys go about it?

yup... i chop the lascannon off and glue on a heavy bolter from the heavy weapon sprue, because i dont like the crappy leman russ ones

The DC hit it on the head with this one. The HB are crappy and wierd looking. I use the HB from the weapons srue and GS a bag/dustcover around it AS in the Chimera bolter.

there is also the metal one that is availibe from mail order, was origionally in the exterminator box, its about 2quid but sometimes it just makes life easier

nah I dont know about that I just used the heavy bolter sponson but it in instead of the lascannon, then I glued that little Aquilla Bit over the top gap it sorta looks cool
Its just when ever I swap out guns it always seems a little bit croocked
