Blog Entries: 5 | Good job.. However, you might try a few shots a little further away, zoom in with your camera, have a lamp just above the mini, and no flash. That might clear the pics up so we can see any fine details.

Blog Entries: 5 | Flash really should be avoided on minis with metallic paint if you're within 12" of the subject. Further than that away, and you should be ok.

Blog Entries: 4 | Although when taking picture of minis, you should never be more then 12 inches away. Try a white background (so the camera has nothing but mini to focus on) without flash as suggested. but the red, which is one of the most difficult colors to paint, looks very good.

Well the camera's flash is way over the top and with normal daylight(Sunny day when taken) and no flash i get pure darkness and no mini showing up. That said i may try and find a lamp as that may work but knowing the cheap bag of piss the camera is it probs wont work. Thanx for the C&C. The Red is: 1.Black Undercoat (sounds nuts i know) 2.Red gore (thin layers maybe 2-3 layers) 3.Blood Red (again needs to be thin make sure for good coverage etc) 4. Red Ink 5. Details and Highlights there you go. -Petey
