| Corporal   |  Nanolathe's Work In my Introduction I called myself an advanced painter, by that I meant that I am (or at least I think I am) a better than average painter. To keep hairy happy and satisfy you all for a brief while I present to you the two figures I've spent the most time on over the last year or so: A Space marine of the Lamenter Chapter. Painting time (if I can remember) was about 4-6 hours in total. Completed just over a year ago.  A Chaos Space Marine from one of my made up Legions; The Sons of Excess (Slaanesh army that never really got going). Painting time was a little less, about 3-4 hours in total. Completed just under a year ago   My skills have advanced a little further since painting these two, but my camera is on the frtiz and no model since has been "completed" as these two have. Currently I'm working on a Wraithlord, but he's not even fully assembled yet (My glue decided to go rock solid almost over night) so I need to go and get more. I will post more as I paint. I hope this makes Hairy Happy, at least for a short while ^ ^ |

Blog Entries: 1 | well colour me a happy hairy  you cartainly can rock the basing aspect of painting! those are awesome!!! the freehand on the chaos marine is nice. it's cool to see the progress a single year can make to someone's brush skills too. if you ever get your camera working again rock on over to the painting tutorial section of the stc manufactorium boards and see if there's anything you can add to the mix

 | nice ! can i ask what you used for the bases ? and the chaos marine is especially excellent. both are hard color schemes too, so kudos on that :]

Blog Entries: 1  | Well you certainly put yourself under pressure - your painting matches your hype! Anyone who can get a clean look with yellow gets a pat on the back from me! Maybe you could do a painting yellow tutorial for our painting guide section! I really think I need to see your Wraitlord - even if it's W.I.P. (I'm a sucker for that mini!)
