| tallarn flesh then dwarf flesh gives a really good result. with the new griffonne sepia, it'll look even better. eventually we might replace those paints that are being pulled, but for now it's just new washes. (i mean, who ever used tenticle pink?!!) cheers!

Blog Entries: 7 | i really like that combo! add some flesh wash between the two for a wonderful result! but as for the bronze flesh im glad to see that go. i used it once and it wasnt good. it looked like my lotr ranger had very caked make up on.

| vomit brown is also very close and I never a reason to have the two of them. Bronzed Flesh was there first so it isn't fair. I blame the Tau.

| Vallejo has a replacement for bronze flesh if you really need it. As a matter of fact they have a complete set of paints which are replacement colors for the entire GW line. In my opinion they work better than GW (I know, I speak heresy!). The Vallejo paints lay down nicer, have better pigmentation (I tested it in my color lab) and have better flow than GW. The down side is, you have to shake the living hell out of them before you use them. Shake until the funny smell is mostly gone from the paint. Here is a link if you want to order them- Vallejo Game Colors If you get the set, it comes with a nifty (yes I used "nifty" in a sentence) carrying case which include a few so-so paint brushes. I believe the case comes with a total of 72 paints (including gloss, matte, and satin varnish bottles). The entire set comes with 95 bottles. The GW replacement colors are called the "Game Color" line. Vallejo also has a "Model Color" line and a line of air brush paints. I hope this helps out.

| Eye dropper? I just use coffee stirers (straws also work) and put my finger on one end. I don't care about what colours they are getting rid of as I mix most of my paints, like the yellow I use for the eagles on my marines' chest and banner poles is a mix of 5 to 1/4 (about a drop) sunburst yellow and blood red and makes a very nice golden orange. Or the flesh on them is 3 to 1 tallarn flesh and white. Too bad for those that do use them, stock up where can find them I guess!
