   |  Painting a City I have been building a Imp City slowely over the last few months.One of the things thats slowing me down is what to use to painting the buildings?I was wondering if anyone can help.I heard spray paint{please not GW to $},airbrush,freehand{lots of time}.Need Help and would like to not spend a fortune on painting it all ready has been expensive buying the buildings and such.

| I'm planning on doing mine with an airbrush and then picking out details by hand. My biggest pieces of advice is to 1) Get more people to help you with it and 2) When you build the buildings make sure they are easy and acessable to paint. Hope this helps a bit, Baron

Blog Entries: 1 | Look around Wal Mart and find some cheap spray paint, lots of it. That will provide as either the primer and/or the main color of the building. While you're at it, choose a few colors that will be used on all of your buildings, and then get a whole bucket of that color. Paint all the details last.

| If you are going to Wal-Mart I highly recommend Krylon paints, they run about $3 per can. They also have $1 cans, but you need multiple coats. I personally prefer the Krylon because of its better quality. |

| brother warchild while you are in wal mart go to the crafts section and there is a company called apple barrel paint its just as good(i think better ) as GW paint and its 44 cent for 2 ounces orf a buck fifty for 8 oz ive alway thought free hand was the best way to paint a building you get better texture
