| Hey guys. I am in the process of painting 48 spinegaunts(well, it will be 54 but not yet). So, I was wondering if you have any tips for painting lots of models. I really want to get it done so I can play with a painted army, but I dont want it to take forever. Also, I do not want to do things that will drasticly reduce the quality of the paint job, such as not thinning my paint. Thanks in advance guys.

| when painting large armies like that do them in large groups you got 48 do 12 at a time do them in steps 1 prime 2 base coat 3 following coats 4 details 5 highlighting 6 basing 7 sealing those are just general steps figure out what works for you but plan it out and stick to a system and youll get them done in no time

| Here is what I did when I had 55 marines to paint. Primer and base coat all the models (its the easiest thing to do) Next I grab a few at a time (5-6) something I feel I can do in a couple of nights. Apply 1 color at a time until complete (no basing) Move on to the next bunch. Once they are all painted I then do decals and basing as I feel this is the easiest step for me. Then seal and play. I did 55 marines in 2 weeks this way. 3 hours a night / 5 nights a week This is what works for me. Just find a groove that works for you and go with it.

| All great advice, I would also recommend sticking to no more then 3 basic colors for the majority of the model. The more complicated your color patterns are, the more time you'll spend on em.

| Thanks for all the comments guys. I'll defidently try to get up some pics once they're done. The probably wont be anything too remarkable, but if you want them I'll try. Hopefully, the monsters will sweet though.
