Blog Entries: 4  |  Post your first painted model Just as the thread description says, do you still have the first model you ever painted? post it up! Here's mine: Reputation for each of the questions answered about this model 1. Game? 2. Model name? 3. Regiment that it belongs to. It could be several different ones, I never put any specific markings on it.     As always, please excuse the pictures, i'm stupid with the camera.

Blog Entries: 1 | i would, but my first painted mini is 15 years in the past and long since lost. it was a D&D earth elemental though and i painted it gold, and i also managed to paint my friends carpet gold too...his mum was less than impressed!

| Hmm my first painting stint was with 1/35 German Soldiers about 8-10 years ago. I dont think I even have them though my first GW model was a Gondorian about 5 years ago. I'll put a pic up once I find him. BvL

| i still got mine! fantasy actually, dark elf warrior on the right. the one on the left is a conversion i did in 5th grade. i thought i was so cool cause i made something on my own lol the actual painting is such crap though >.<  i think ive gotten a LITTLE better, wouldnt you? (dont answer that!! lol) |

| Re: Post your first painted model i couldnt tell you where my first mini is probably in germany somewhere it was a pewter battletech mini from Ralpartha (i think) i couldnt even tell you what make probably an atlas but it has been long gone Looong gone i havent even thought about that mini in 11 years last time i saw it was in 1994

I thought I had lost all my old mini's but it seems Krom has a load in his garage!   They were from my never thin paints and use them straight from the pot days!! I'll try and get some worse and older mini's, my first attempt at Striking Scorps was most disturbing!!

I had bought a fair few models, all of which are long gone now (including over 1000 points of Rogue Trader era space marines that I just left somewhere, dammit). But I painted this guy just after buying the first ever Citadel Colour paint set of nine pots. He's a Chaos Lord. I still have him somewhere. The base, I hasten to add, is not original. RTB-01 was released shortly after I painted this and I still have my first Blood Angel around somewhere, although I haven't got a picture of him. R. |
