Ill get pics up when i get back from GW but i completely stripped his paint and re made the scheme the colors are the same but the quality is nicer most notably the robe!

Not bad, not bad.

I would still say - be a bit lax on the paint and try to get it thinned down. I see what your working with~

For the robe, I would start with a few tones under then work your way up to the blood red. I will fully assume you use black primer?

1 coat crimson red -> 1 coat Red gore -> 1 coat blood red


Paint the black last, to clean up the messups.

But tis good. Just recommendations for future improvement for your army =P

Crimson Red = scab red.


I take back my statement on the red, red is fine.
My advice is just for depth painting. Adding darker reds in the crevices, and a highlight of red for more depth painting.

Red you have is fine- its flat blood red.


What you use for silver?

i base boltgun metal, wash with black ink, HL with chainmail and then mith silver thats it, i got it from Hairy , and dont worry you weren't harsh
