 |  Samuri XV8 Hey, I got this idea from my dislike of the dawn blade that comes with Commander Farsight and now i want to make a sort of samuri, if you will, Crisis XV8 suit. The problem is I have no idea where to get a katana type sword to fit the size of the battlesuit. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could accomplish this?

| hmmm...Urban Mammoth sells a line of Samurai-like minis (Triad Gangs) about the size of GW's models for their Urban War Range. I don't own any, but you might find luck with the Shogun-class battlesuits' katana.... otherwise, you would have to build your own

| I might use one of the Ushabti swords, if i can find that bit, but i'll probably build one myself with something...

| That's probably what i'll do cause i was just purusing other models to see if i could find a sword i liked to take off of them and well a lot of GW swords are just way to blunt looking for me. I've never herd of milliput but i researched it and thats probably what i'll use, thanks.

| i had this problem when i wanted to make a bezerker glaive for my deamon prince. a two handed sword for an obliterator? arghh! so i just shaved down a carnifex scything talon, removing the bone like look and the carapace at the bottem, and bult it back up with green stuff so it was even and sharp |

| Hmm that could work and i just happen to have some tyranid bits. what about Inquisitor specialty models? The sword from the death cult assassins from te inquisitor line would work in shape, but how big are those models? I know that they're bigger but how would that sword compare to an XV8 body?

| my god that thing is awsome, i wish thta I had the tiem and skill ot make and paint somethign like that...... I'll prbably, no definently, use the gundrone, hat idea for a commander, it looks way awsome. The other part I really like are the way the legs are elongated. Yeah this really helps, thanks.
