| The Witchhunter ![]() | there was an article in White Dwarf a couple of months back (cannot remember the issue #) which showed quick ways to paint a skeleton unit, an ultra marine squad and some LoTR Marauders (i think?). the method for the skeletons was nice, simple, quick but effective imo - may be worth looking that up |

| prime white and wait for the new washes! delvan mud or strait black wash is great for vamp count skellies, while gryphonne sepia is perfect for tomb king skellies!cheers!

| White base coat ... wash ... dry brush, has always been the easiest way to go for me. I have seen other methods which give incredible results, but those are not the quick & simple solutions you are looking for. If the spray cans are not available to you, then get a good sized bottle of white paint (applebarrel, folk art or equal) thin down a bit to give a smooth coat and get a good sized brush. Then go to town and primer.

| Have you ever tried Dr. Ph. Martin water colors to do your dip. It works like a charm! (you have to mix them with some future but its great!)

| I agree with the priming white and inking than drybrushing, but only because you want a fast and effective way. I personally would not paint my minis in this manner, but that will work for your purposes. When inking though, you could try a watered down dark brown wash and add a drop of dish liquid so as to make sure the color goes into the recessess better. MAKE SURE you let the ink process dry before you dry brush. About an hour would be just fine for the inking to dry.

the great thing about FFW is that it stops the current inks from pooling and drying in great dark 'blobs' of colour around the rescess of the model. cheers!
