Tzeentch Daemon Prince WiP - 40K Terra

Greetings Fellow Gamers/Hobbiests/Modelers,

Well as some of you know I am trying to put together, model, and paint a new Tzeentch army list for a tournament that is coming up in less than 6 weeks.

In the mean time I will be posting pics of my Deamon Prince as I work on him. Here are the bitz and the rough idea of what I have for how he will look when completed.

i love the size - its refreshing to see a not-over-the-top sized monstrous creature DP for once, though i have my doubts that the tzeench GD head will look good on that size body

other than the head, i love the parts used. very cool, especially the armoured legs!

Yeah I know the Head might be kinda big, but I do have plans I will be adding about 1/2 inch or so to the torso so that the chest is proportional to the legs and wings.

I will keep you all updated with more pics as they come.

if anything id say the torso is the perfect size for those legs, i mean theyre form archeon and look at the soze of his torso compared to the one youre using... still, i trust you know what youre doing.

also i love how big the tzeench daemon wings look on the model, really cool

i think the torso and legs match up well
the torso might be a tad big
but its a deamon
as far as the head what is the size on the "epic" range deamon
will that head be too small?

currently working on a chainmail blet that should help hide the joining of the legs to the torso and look cool.

Any one have any sugustions for different heads if that particular head isn't going to work? Remeber that I have limited time on these models. I have plenty of Tyranid Pits, some kroot stuff including Krootox, Space Marine, Chaos Space Marine (I was at one pointhinking of a CSM Termie head)

I kinda agree with Comando on the torso. All of these pieces fit very well except the head. Maybe instead of extending the torso just trim back the neck about 1 cm . The head is perfect, but just too long.

Looking forward to seeing this one finished.

If nuthin you do with the one head works out I would use a kroot head as a good replacement. You have the Beakie look to it already and the quills could be shaved down and mde into feathers pretty easy...

i'm with munkey, the kroot head would probably work best. be sure to mount him on a 40mm base for gaming though as that's the standard DP size base iirc.
