Blog Entries: 5     |  What parts? Right.. Well I saw this conversion and LOVED it.. I'd probably not mind doing something similair.. But what parts did he use in this kitbash, and how the hell did they get mashed together so?

Blog Entries: 4 | ok, heres the break down of the parts that aren't Marine: The cloak is from a Chaos Warrior, just clipped and sanded to fit a marine, not that hard to do really. The backpack I still don't know, probably the old commander set? I have no clue, but the new one should do just as well. Staff is brass rod, and the mace on top is probably just some random bit he found. I can't for the life of me pick out the mace. It may not be GW made. could be from the Flagellent models, or from the Tomb Kings. The skirt is a High Elf/Dark Elf skirt with a green stuff rectangles covering some of the chain mail.

Blog Entries: 4 | There isn't much added height but he's much more in scale then with normal marine legs. The green stuff over the chain mail is a must in order to give it a little more width.

| i've seen that close combat weapon a million times on the golden demon websites [ie when they post pics of the winners, etc.] but i've never known where it came from. i really do like the cape on this guy. i should figure out how to gs those :P thanks for posting erus :] -ant

| Come on Gents....this is an easy one....the mace bit is the Mace of Valaan that Redemptor Kyrinov carries from classic 2d/3d edition 40K....nothing better than a good power mace....I love the Marine Veteran and Classic Sister Superior who carry those......If I am not mistaken....the backpack is Marneus Calgar's 2d/3d edition backpack....Great job on the conversion.....I like the double barrelled bolter and may just have to do a couple of those....

It is a differnet backpack in finished model + WiP shot  Finished model has second edition ( i think, first edition was on a throne, then second was in power armour, current edition in termi armour ) marneus calgars backpack with the backbanner pole removed WiP shot uses the plastic marines backpack in commander box set The torso ia the back of a plastic chaos warrior Sklep z grami REBEL.pl :: Warriors Of Chaos Regiment - gry rpg, gry planszowe, gry karciane i inne However - i dont think it has been changed apart from removing the shoulder spike and then sticking the front of a marines torso to it ( the shoulderpads etc are on the chaos cloak hence why im pretty sure it hasnt been modified apart from that spike ) Skirt is from the dark elf warrior regiment sprue Think right hand + mace pole is from the command squad standard bearer arm If im not mistaken - i think that model is made by Abstract Incendaries from the B&C thanks, L |
