Haha well sadly guys exams have hit me pretty hard this week and next so you'll just have to wait a bit longer.
Good news is that since I dont have full days of school next week I'll be doing alot of tank painting.

I'm hoping to get all my armour mostly done next week so look for major progress in terms of pics next weekend.

Allright guys heres the deal:
Tanks are going to be built and primed this weekend and then painted next week just in time for the end of January. Sadly I'm still waiting for my Vanquisher Command Leman Russ from FW, but otherwise I hope to finish all my armor in the upcoming week or so. Just to lay out the epic-ness of this undertaking the 501st "Rüstung" consists of:
1x Baneblade
2x Macharius (Vanquisher and Battle Cannon)
1x 'Gustav' Mortar
2(3)x Leman Russes (Vanquisher Command Not here yet)(Vanquisher and Demolisher)

After the tanks are done I'll be turning all my attention to the painting contest and whatever Infantry I have built during February.

Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Sweet! This will come in handy for my Valkyries that i'll be using in the Sentarus detachment.

I've got a pretty good-method for 2-3 color camo that I use my airbrush for. And it makes painting tanks take about 1/8 of the time they usually take. I can paint a whole chimera/leman russ in about 30 mins of Airbrushing and 1 hour of detailing.

Sweet! My fiancee has one of the best aribrushes out there, so all I need to know is how to take it to a model.... Could you do a guide for that on SM tanks too? Since they don't use camo?

WoooT baron, airbrush tut, that will be cool! I am just about to start airbrushing my grav tanks! (Tho I have never actually used one before!) I have practiced and I'm ready to go!

So the tut will prolly end up to late for me, but I'll look out for it as I need all the help I can get. (I am very poor with gadgetry! lol)

Space Marines are even easier as they are 1 color (mostly) and then detailing. You really dont even need an airbrush to do that you can use Spray Paint straight from the can. Allthough if you want to use GW paints airbrushing is the way to get good color.
