hello all, this is my wip blog for 1 of my three planned forces (which i will then update and add this one after the other two are done), my bretonnians. there will be alot of variant schemes for the troops, but they will be unit by unit.

too true my friend. exactly why virtue of confidence and gauntlet of the duel are a combo my army will never leave hme without....whe i get to 1k.

well, good luck trying to find my family's coat of arms... there was a little erm, 'disagreement' we had with the pope himself... it kinda went a wee bit south for us when the spanish army showed up!

anyways, it might make for a fun challenge, trying to find the pazzi heraldry as it was striken from most records when our family was excomunicated from the roman catholic church!

your family was excommunicated, for what? anyway, i happen to have in my possesion the family heraldry on a plauque! it displays a quarter'd red and black scheme with a armoured arm "seated" on a pillow holding the cross. (the one with the mini crosses on the crossbar)

I'd like to be a grail knight, but since I'm a hunter of gisoreux maybe a questing knight would make more sense?

ok then, i'll put you down for grail. questing knights have greatswords, and vs lances in a hunt it would make more sense. 11 grails left people! get in quick!

As for crest, my family lost our coat of arms b/c we packed up and left to come to America before the Great War so we're not really sure what it was. So I'll do what I always do when I dont know something: Make up a cool alternative!... though I'll get back to you on that one.

Here's my family crest. Considering the lion, I think Couronne is good. And Rhaalidor is not a proper Bret name, so my first name, William should be Frenchified to Guillaume. Oh, yeah, I'm a Pegasus pilot.

well, when i said we had a slight 'disagreement' with the pope, it kinda ment we forcibly tried to erm, 'replace' the pope with a proper italian candidate!
open rebellion wasn't the most brilliant move in my family's history!>.< but the, we did consider ourselves in the right! i mean, honestly, why should italian taxes have gone to fund the (spanish born) pope and the spanish professional army?!!

ironically, i am descended from one of the oldest noble bloodlines in all of italy! (and yep, we threw it all away - just like horus!)
