Blog Entries: 5     |  Choose it! Ok gents and ladies (guess I have to include stitch and Elen name, eh?). The Lord Commander has decided there is too much Blood Angel-yness in his place. So he's looking for another Legion. Purpose of this is to put up the Legions I would consider, and have you all VOTE! Please, if you vote, do post here as to why, etc.. I'm leaning Word Bearers at this point because of all the intricate conversion possibilities (shrines on vehicles, seals, liturgy scribed on armor, etc..) Although Dark Angels might be fun to mess w/ Wolfpack with. Voting will end at a time not yet set, but to be announced soon!

| i voted dark angels i just have a soft spot for the legions that stayed loyal plus preheresy with every one in black armor (awesome) no death wing to speak of really they were there but not a fanatical as they are now and i belive their armor wasnt bone colored every thing changed with them when luthor split the legion

| hmm word beares would definatly look cool, i like the no frills adatude of the death guead and you could model them all war warn. i would personaly like to see sons of horuscool colors and some cool char convertions.

| Okay here is why I am saying Dark Angels: I think you should do dark angels because there is that secretive fluff about them that I think you would really like. Also not a lot of people do the pre-heresy loyalists more or less then they do chaos simply because they are the same then as they are now. Except for the Dark Angels they are different. Their scheme is different then now. |

| they didnt become secrative till the heresy their secret is a portion of the legion turned and they are afraid of anyone finding out only the command and raven/death wing know the truth not even "battle brothers" until they become one of either this uncludes their succesor chapters

 i voted word bearers. all the liturgies, prayers, scrolls, banners, purity seals armour/vehicle shrines, chaplains, fanatics etc is too cool an opportunity to pass up on. that and my fave piece of artwork from the 3rd edition chaos codex is the one of the dark apostle on the word bearer page - awesome! death guard are close second with me, mainly cuz, as has already been mentioned, you could make their armour dirty and worn down. | |

| Thanks, D_C! I do like me some Death Guard... my favorite Chaos Legion. Word Bearers were indeed granite gray. If you really wanted to, Erus, you could show them starting to fall to Chaos since they did before the Heresy itself, meaning they would still be pre-Heresy. Tatoos on the some shaved heads, perhaps some runic markings on their armour.... Quote:
