Okay, in my blog over the last months ive posted about my upcomeing Imperial Fists Army. well, ive decided to do a WIP thread for these guys simply because...i want to. and the fact BvL has shown an interest in my plans, so i just thought I'd Share My Yellow inspired madness with the massess. so, on with the show.

To do a 1500pts Imperial Fists Army By the end of august.
The Rules:
I am allowed to spend up to a total of £30 Each Month on new bits for my army; However In the First Month, the budget will be a total of £50. Any money saved will be carryed over into the Next Month, and any money spent over will be deducted from the first month.
Starting Cash: £50
Money Spent So Far this month: £27.25
Money Remaining: £22.75
Next Months Budget: £52.75

As for the modeling side of things; i MUST have the models i bought at the start of the month built and painted. and anyone here on Terra is free to beat with me sticks if i dont comply with that part, and above all, any comments or critism is more than welcome, so feel free.

So..what now?
Well, as ive allready said, i have a budget. and this Month, ive pretty much spent it; and now i have my First Squad in the post whisking its way to me. however, they wont get here till Friday at the earlyest...so. im affraid your going to have to wait for WIP shots of my Models, but i promise to post them up here as soon as i can. so saturday night, sunday Morning.
in the mean time, your just going to like im having to, and sit and wait. T_T

Okay First Batch Of stuff should be arriveing This Friday, Gods willing.
now, something i forgot to mention in my First Post is the actuall modeling side of this Army.
so, when i have models to build/paint My Plan is to build one model at a time, and then paint them up. or paint them on the sprue. however, im the type of guy who loves to just, when im building, chop and sqitch stuff out on a model if i think it looks cool. so, i Really dont want to paint them on the sprue. they might look better overall, because ive got complete paint coverage over the model but...I think i might only do that with normal marines. I dont know, guess ill just have to see what i feel like when i get my first box.....Get here faster damn you! i want to start building!
one more thing before i go, my paint scheme. since i have no painted models at this time, heres something i did using the SM painter on B&C to give you an idea as to where im going with my painting.



and as to how im going to paint the Yellow, well, First i have to thank Nano for his awesome Solid Yellow Tut hes done, as its made this army possible. because i couldnt paint yellow before hand, and i didnt like the Idea of dipping my models.

okay...so maybe that needs to be changed alittle.
anyway, im a full day late, im sorry. but i have my reasons.
one of them being, i finally got a copy of the Xbox360 Game: MASS EFFECT.

and for the record. that gane is damn addictive! (however actually playing the game was harder than i anticipated. the game in the photo above is broken. there was a hairline fracture in the disc. it wouldnt play >< however ive picked up anouther copya firstHand copy this time, and it plays beatuifully.) secondly is the 3 months XboxLive gold supricption, thats next to mass effect in the picture. now i have that baby, celibrateing Winterennmass is going to be a hell of alot easyer. that and getting the online achivemenst in Halo3.

But, enough of my rantings about Mass Effect. MORE MODELS!! and saturady i picked up this very nice package i ordered from the mail order trolls last week,

the Iron Hands Tactical sqd, the extra sprue, and the gidieon body. all nicely packed, and just begging to be made to live.
Now despite being late I have got something done. and the plan is to paint them a small group at a time, rather than the entire squad all at once. so heres the first 3 models.

The SGT, modeled on the artwork in my current signature, very cool if you ask me, but thats me.


The First Regilar marine for the SQD, however the Dark angel symbol on the bolter will be shaved off, i just forgot when i was putting it togther.


the squads specialist with Plasma gun with a bionic left arm. The gidion torso i bought was suppost to be for the sgt but when i was inspired by the art work, it was hard Not to do the pose. and i didnt want to just put the gidion pice away as again its too cool, anyway enough of me more pictures:


and last but not Least the Sgt for the Chaplains command SQD. now, this is the sgt aurealius figure, and he has a interesting story behind him. but thats for anouther time. however, i do have un-painted models left over from my last marine army, such as 2 rhinos, and the chassis for a pred as well as aurealius, so i wont need to buy them ^^ well, i will need to pic up some extra armour for the rhinos, but other than that...im doing it again arent i? >< heres the sgt:


now, if your wondering why they have no left arm pads. thats because im going to put some of the offical imperial fists pads on order when i buy the next batch of models next month.
anyway thats it for now folks. hope that keeps you all happy. as for painting, ill be starting tuesday night with a test model, and ill post it when the yellows done.
anyway that is TRUELY all for now.
as for me, im off to go and kill some Geth on Mass Effect, damn bastards just keep getting back up again. ><

You can buy them seperatly I think just search on GW for Iron hands and it should come up.

Okay, after a fairly wierd series of events today (and explaing the finer points of griffball to my class. well, all except petey.) i wrote a short story. its the second half of my Heroes and Dead Men Piece, and is the end of the story, anyway, enjoy.

and secondly, after watching a few million Armoured Core 4 Fan Music Vids Last night...no work got done on my two yellow tester marines, however if all else fails i should get some done tonight at my local Vets night. and wish me luck, playing a re-match against a friend of mine, and having a refresher game of LOTR with one of the staff. after playing Return of the king with petey a while ago, i just think gimili is very cool, i played all the way through with him, and i enjoyed every moment.
