| Re: Dusk Raider's Death Guard & Renegade Militia WIP Mega Army Not much to update on, really. I ordered the Chaos Warrior torsos from thewarstore.com, along with Nurgle icons. The Dreadclaw has been basecoated and will have it's first layer of ink today. I've also been working on a Night Lords Lord (weird) on Jetbike for the May Competition... I'm feeling the urge to bang my head repeatedly against my table. I've already told myself I will NOT buy any pieces for it, nor will I use GS (I suck with it). Oh yes, my Epidemus and Beast of Nurgle also came in, so I'll be putting those together sometime soon... I may go pick up the Vampire Counts Corpse Cart today to make my super awesome palanquin/chariot idea.

It's not what i'm used to, and at first I didn't like it (I tend to lean to a hyper realistic spectrum) but it's growing on me. I am most eager to see some army lists, and hq's and the like. And that dread claw, and the plague tower. Hells bells, i'm just eager for the next update!

Although the back is quite weighted down my Epidemius and his throne due to being all cast metal. I just need to find some cheap jewelry chain tomorrow or something and tie the ole Beast of Nurgle up to it. Then it'll be finished! Erus- Thank you for the compliments! I tend to go towards realism (as much as possible in 40K, haha). I know it won't win me any Golden Daemons (I dispise NMM), but it suits me just fine. As far as Lists, I'll probably post some soon. HQ? I have a Typhus, but I don't have him painted well (read: He sucks). I intended on making all of my DG Terminators in Grey armor, but it didn't work well. I may eventually repaint him, but I'm more waiting for the FW Death Guard Sorcerer/ Chaos Lord to be released, and that'll be my HQ. The other idea I had HQ wise was taking one of my FW Death Guard Terminators w/o helm and turning him into a Chaos Lord. I'm not really all that concerned about it right now, though. The Dreadclaw is on hold until I'm done with my Son of Malal Jetbiker, then I'll get back on track. Also, I haven't even started on my Plague Tower, as thewarstore.com still doesn't have the Baneblade chassis/tracks in stock. So far for my Chaos Daemon army I have 2x Daemon Princes of Nurgle, 20x Plaguebearers, Epidemius, 1x Beast of Nurgle (though it'll be towing my Palanquin and thus shouldn't really be counted), and a crapload of Nurglings. Right now I haven't made up my mind if I want to purchase more pieces (including the Khorne components), or splurge on the FW Great Unclean One, which would be used as Ku'Gath.

I dunno), and as you can tell, the lighting isn't the best... but you get the idea. I just pretty much finished it.

These two are a Champion and a Personal Icon Bearer (I used only PMs so no need for a Mark of Nurgle bearer). I also have a size comparison so you can see how much taller these boys are with the Fantasy Chaos Warrior legs.

I definitely think the corpses strewn about the first ones will work great for DG, and the daemons crawling around the others would work great for my Khorne/ Nurgle daemon army. Any thoughts?
