the title means head to head: two gamers. this is a blog for me against a friend of mine named warmaster romulas

basically, we make up a 500 pt list, and go for 4-6 months, duking it out on the painting and modeling side of the field. this is our blog... beware for some insanedom.

my starting list an pics (sorry if thier blurry)

(DON'T HAVE ETHIER)

Squad Ajax, 5 marines, 2 plasma guns (guy with skull on helmet sergeant)

Squad Aneas, 5 marines, 2 melta guns
95 pts

(the rest of the marines from both squads)

total = 496 pts

actually marcus i made a Wip on this site
and im gonna post on your blog on warseer
that way in that giant site our stuff will be together and notlost in the shuffle
but in this smaller (better) community
i figured it easier to have my own WIP

yeah i messed up. and warmaster, i just copied and pasted my thread from warseer, which, hopefully will be up in a few minutes (give or take the lazy mod, as people with under 5 posts have thier posts sent through a mod.

double post, sorry. anyways its an update, so i did not want to edit. EDIT: forget the guardsman, he's unrelated to the project, anyways, i am dropping a dread for the 3 pods.

my unmade drop pods

my commander with jumpack (JP glued together - not onto commander - hence the fingers)

and another guardsman, my first attempt at mixing paints (the blue)

the mix is as follows

i am taking it slow. my 500 pt list has half the models yours does, and i've still got to highlight, but technically i am calling them complete because they have the madatory three colors on them.

I am glad someone used that post!!!! Let me know if you run into any problems with them other than the paint sometimes not sticking.

Also if you use some masking tape as a edger you can make those lines alot crisper looking!

for the drop pods i use

rust-oleum specialty paint for plastic black (the glossy kind)

be sure to use matte varnish if using this.

and for regular models

america's finest black fast dry all purpose interior/exterior spray by rust-oleum
