| Thanks. I started using faith counters to ease the suspicions of Non-Sister players here. Alot of newbies are often caught off guard by the SoB's act of faith and are left in disbelief lol, so I started using counters to help myself and my oppenent keep track of the amount of faith I spend and gain throughout the game. Just a show of good sportsmenship I thought. Anyway, any ideas how I should base these counters?

About Celestine, I dont think shes worth her points so I never take her. You could take a canoness with a jump pack, blessed weapon, and a bunch of other goodies for less points, and overall have an HQ that dishes out Double the ass kicking minus the risk. The saint you see there in the pictures is my " Canoness " with a jump pack, blessed weapon, and inferno pistol. I was also rather disappointed with the model that GW produced for Celestine. That cape thing she came with was soo borring, especially since in the fluff shes depicted with angellic like wings. I based my Living saint more less off the artwork in the book for living saints, with large wings and a large spear ( blessed weapon ). The Flaming sword is a good idea, but I think I'll stay away from that one. Seen it done too many times. Maybe a flaming spear or halberd? ![]()

| Well I didnt get much done today I woke up late in the afternoon ( more like this evening ) and I wasnt home for very long. I did however, finish one model, my Heavy Flamer girly. Still gotta fix up some minor details here and there, but for the most part she is finished. ![]() Her name is Sister Kayla aka " Scorch ". When shes not purging heretics in His Holy Name, she enjoys candle lit dinners and long walks on the beach...

Long walks in the rain.....*cues the song "if you like Pina Coladas.....LOL Well I would base the faith counters like your minis OR Leave off all the terrain and paint like a bright shiney coin.....I think that would solve the baseing issue but would test your (already nice) PAINTING ABILITIES.....just a thought, but they will be cool however you do them

| Well I decided to take a break from my exorcist for awhile lol, but after an epic game of APOC last night I felt recharged and ready to work on something else in my army. This time it would be my Seraphim, who serve as my winged Canoness's meat shield! Errr I mean campanions ![]() ![]() ![]() If you have ever seen Seraphim in a blister you would notice that they stand on these 2 extremely ugly and flimsy pegs, which is such a waste considering how gorgeous these models actually are. Because of this I wanted to put some extra attention into their bases... ![]() Now these minis are FAR from finished, as I still have alot of work to do but I think I got the basic visuals down. I wanted to stay away from the standard Lava bases as the rest of my army. What I had invisioned was the Canoness and Seraphim soaring through the ruins of a once great cathedral. Smashed statues, fallen pillars, and ruble everywhere. To give them the illusion of flight, I angled some of the pillars and pinned the figures to them from behind. When youre looking directly at these models they do actually seem like they are hovering. ![]() ![]() If youre wondering where I got the pillars from, it was a resin back drop from a friend's old salt water aquarium. To sanitize it and kill any bacteria/algae that may have been there I boiled it in water, then let it soak in a bucket full of bleach and water for a day. I then took a toothbrush and bleach to the entire thing, and let it to dry in the sun for a day or two. ( If you plan on using USED aquarium items, it is important to clean away kill any and all bacteria and algae left behind, especially from a salt water tank) To get the peices I needed, I put the entire resin peice in a paper bag and slammed it on the ground a few times like an angry wookie when he doesnt get his pictures . Then I took my dremel and cutting disk to it, to get the exact peices I needed. When using a dremel or any other power tool, be sure to wear proper eye protection, and in the case of working with resin, wear a mask to keep from breathing in any dust.
