| I have also learned to give my characters only the essentials, slavetothemachine. Keeping the character close to a unit was exactly what I was thinking, too.

Blog Entries: 4 | Slight update, Aside from the sword I think the EC model is lacking slightly... With that in mind I'll probably convert a Space Marine Comander somehow... I'm thinking of taking his robed back, plus maybe the Company Champion Torso from the command squad sprue (or one of the BT Robed torsos with the collar), over the running legs of a Khorne Berserker... Weapon-wise, I might give him the sword from the EC model and maybe a bolt-pistol hand or something... I'm open to suggestions on the head, but I'm thinking of either the Company Champion head, the hooded DA sergeant head, the standard CSM Aspiring champion head, or the Berserker helm that has no lenses and maybe cutting the horns off...

| Great conversions! You would prefer a hooded helm, as in helmeted head? Isn't there one on the DA sprue? As for the reaver jetbike, I'd love to help, but I have only ever even seen a Dark Eldar player once...

| The conversions look great! The robed guy probably would look better with a robed head, if you can get one. Other than that, great work and I hope you'll post some more pics of completed models soon... No pressure, everybody's watching

Blog Entries: 4 | There were four of them, all of which I've used elsewhere. So I'll either have to order the heads online or buy another DA veteran set... Plus, I want my Chaos Lord to have a look that sets him apart from the rest of the army... I was going to use one of the defiler masks coupled with some green stuff but I'm not sure they're the right size... I mean if I could find a chaos warrior skull helm and give it a hood I'd use that... Slavetothemachine: Which one? The DA one or the BT one? I agree that the robed head would look better but I keep thinking that they'll just look like space marines with chaos power-packs... The Dark Eldar Jetbike is here. I was thinking of giving the rider a maximus helmet and that power mace that comes with the dark angels sprue... Though the robed Ravenwing biker is also appealling... Stubber: DA veteran squad, Black templar Chapter upgrade set (it comes with two mk4 maximus helmets and four mk2 crusade helmets, how could I resist?), space wolves long fangs, various CSM bits from both the squad, biker and vehicle sprues and the standard space marine command squad sprue.

Blog Entries: 4 | My main problem is that the front portion of the bike, which is where the melta would be mounted, has a lot of coolish curves that I'd rather not butcher just yet. Now, I have the Ravenwing sprue, complete with the landspeeder upgrades, as well as some spare demonic maws from the vehicle sprue...

| Well, you could either add one to the platform at the bottom of the bike, next to where the transparent bit goes into the model. OR you could get two meltas and add one to the underside of each side wing. You could still make it count as one melta.
