Blog Entries: 1  |  Well all, i have made a new progress log for i have further changed my development. right now i am working on a few imperial forces fighting in a crusade for the adeptus mechanicus. right now i have no pics because i'm at the library, but that should change in a few minutes. anyway, as a teaser, i'll list what i have in the building process. 1 adeptus mechanicus skittari officer (with legs) 1 adeptus mechanicus marines strike force command squad (put together- yes the ad mech made a chapter - ha) 1 adeptus mechanicus strike force devastator squad (melta's, old parts, and a lighting clawed sergeant) further stuff + pics to come soon!!! signing off from computer ten at my library, lord marcus  PICS! first, the officer   now, the marines dev sarge  dev's WIP  and the command squad  and thier faithfull steed (i see the crack, i'll GS it, then self prime and paint over it)  and.....gasp....interior details! (best pic of five)

Blog Entries: 1 | Re: iron cog and + marines see, that was an accident, the tracks got cot with glue on them, and i coud'nt get them out to realine them, so i said "frag it" and re alined them the best i could without damaging the look of the rhino. and, actually, all chapters after the horus heresy were created with the tech and skills of the ad mech, but no, not in cannon.

Blog Entries: 3  | Re: iron cog and + marines Good start kiddo. The crack and track being off are some things to consider, but you've noticed them. Noticing smaller and smaller mistakes is a sign your skills are developing, not matter what level you may be at. I really like the officer in the first picture actually. I never thought of those bits being combined. I may have to do some kit bashing myself and see what I can come up with from that. P.S. - If you wanted to do skitarii/Ad Mech, rather than these guys being an Ad Mech chapter, they could easily be made as tech guard! Just insert some bionicy bits on at least every marine, purity seals, and lots of rare/high end weapons and some VDR tanks. I've often planned and envisioned just such a force as you are building, so it brings a smile to my face to see SOMEONE do it. Lord knows with my attention span i'll be 50 and still planning it. PM me if you want an I can send you fluff on the Ad Mech, their ranks, and even a homebrewed codex our very own resident Perturabo helped craft!

I'd say they'd be the equivalent of an Elites slot choice in an Ad Mech army, and (due to bionics, enhancements, etc..) have the same stat lines and such as an SM, and power armor. I'll try and dig up fluff for you and such on my next day off.
