   |  Rune Priest Terminator OK...as promised...here's the pics of my WIP...Rune Priest Terminator...still a long way to go,but these are preliminary before I begin the major GS work and rune carving.

| I'm liking it but The staff doesn't seem right. Isn't a rune priest a Chappy? or is it a libby? if its a chappy the chainsword thingy just seems wrong imho if its a libby well force weps come in all shapes and sizes!

Blog Entries: 5 | Ummma.. Lemme see if I can help.. It's not a chain blade... It's a 'frost blade'. These are big, nasty, mean Space Wolves weapons. Their chain teeth are made form Kraken teeth, and are treated as power weapons that add +1 str. So, the chain bladed attachment makes sense. Plus, a Rune Priest is a Space Wolf Librarian that uses totems, nature magic, and rune carvings rather than warp power so much, so the whole staff/halberd bit works. If I remember right, he intends to carve the haft of the weapon with runes, and the GS on the back of the legs and such will have runes all over it as well. Also.. He hacked the wolf skull on the leg from the arm of something, and the wolf pelt was from.. Fantasy White Wolves. *mental note: find and obtain said bit*

| I'm not sure if you need any help with the runes but here is how I did my friends wolf priest. I took some green stuff and pressed it flat on my pallet it was about 1/8th of an inch thick which turned out to be a little too thick but was a mistake that turned out to save me a ton of time. So with the flat spread of green stuff I used my exacto to cut out some runes. It makes for highly angular runes that look very good although any runes with spaces inside of the shape can be difficult with this technique. Here is where the mistake turned out to be a life saver. I had to cut the rune in half width wise to make it thin enough and low and behold I had two runes (it's simple logic after the fact I know). It makes good for one rune on the back and one on the front of the model, saving so much time. Well there is my little tutorial if I can get picks of him when I get home I'll put them up.
