 |  Scratchbuilt Lightning Imperial Fighter! Ok, so although i seem to be dying with illness and drowning in coursework, homework, and revision, im finally well enough to show off my baby. 90% complete.... tell me what you think!  And the orgional from Forgeworld...  Not bad eh? Just need to finish the cockpit, add the Lascannons, and stick in a pilot.... Once im healthy again that is  Give me your opinions, i only learn through critism

| Re: Scratchbuilt Lightning Imperial Fighter! Some better pictures :-    Ah, and i used several things... 1) 60 and 80 thou Plasticard! This is my first ever scratchbuilt model, and its surprisingly easy to work with. 2) Syringes! The engines are simply Syringes cut to the right lengeth, painted, and a circle of plasticard for the end. 3) Model Aeroplanes. This is the two 'bombs' on the nose of my plane, and the rear jet is from a Phantom plane Airfix kit. 4) Glue... rather self explainitory  All in all, it must have cost me... 8 quid/$15 to make it. A hefty saving when you look at FW's prices.... And im glad you all like it, makes all this toiling worthwhile.
