Blog Entries: 1 | Allright everone! Update, kinda! Alright. My english teacher assigned us a project, to write a story using vocabulary from "Romeo and Juliet". I did it all in one night, and here it is. it is about the Schlachtfeld men, specifically 1st Platoon, and gives a little bit of history. Have fun! Hive Infernatus. Once a proud city, it was now reduced to a festering testament to plague and rot. From a distance, it looked like just another hive city, a large, grey giant reaching high into the sky. However, as one drew closer, driving through the choking ash fields that laid over most of the planet, they would see a miasma of vile energy and sickness. Dare to come even closer, perhaps to the walls and the large trench-warfare that whirled about, they would see the once-proud buildings dripping with disease and filth. The walls of Hive Infernatus were cracked and old, pure corruption dripping out, scabs growing from the battlements where pus-dripping cultists held back the storm of the Imperial Guard. Old, rotting banners hung and waved feebly in the dead air that pulsed through the city. Wooden structures collapsed from inner rot, and the dead rose up again, their souls pulled back to their bodies by horrid magic’s. None of this really mattered to Leutnant Erik Vishim. As he sat in the officer’s quarters, slowly falling asleep as Oberst Heris went over the plans, he wished that he could be in the front with squad fox. “Vishim! “ The commander slammed on the table hard, waking him from his half-dream state. “Are you even listening?” Erik had a brief flash to be truthful, but he suppressed it and nodded. The commander’s disposition was raging at the fact that they had not taken the city in the time it was estimated. “I am, sir,” he replied sleepily. “Get that sleep out of your eyes, Leutnant. Guess whose company is going to assaulting first?” The Oberst had a dangerous twinkle in his eye as Erik gulped, and pointed a finger at himself. “Your right son, I hold you in such high esteem!” His voice was layered with sarcasm, and Erik frowned angrily. But before he could ask any questions, the Oberst leaned forward and grinned, “If you do not prevail at this point, you could suffer some extremely harsh consequences, should you survive. If you do, you might suffer banishment in those ash wastelands.” Furrowing his brow, Erik stood up fast and saluted,” Yes, Oberst. Your will be done.” As he slid his gas-mask over his face, he heard a large amount of laughing behind him. Storming out, he heard only one last phrase from the Oberst. “Don’t return if you fail!” Upon walking out, Erik made a beeline to his men’s sub-terranean quarters. He ran quickly through the trenches, keeping his head low. His grey fatigues blended in with the dark brown earth, his wine-red flak armor protecting his chest and back. He ducked as a shot whizzed past his ear, and he fumbled for his holster, drawing a beaten iron auto pistol. Sliding into the barracks, he was greeted by the snapping of armored boots and the brisk salutes from his men. Some of them were wearing their helmets, some without, their blond and black hair pulled into tight ponytails. All wore their rebreather masks, but he could still see the red triangle tattoos that hung from their eyes, marking them as the soldiers from second company, first platoon. They were a pernicious group, their loaded autoguns held close to their chests. “First Platoon,” Erik’s voice was booming, thanks to the amplifier within his mask,” today we shall prove ourselves as valiant men. Today, we shall be the first on the line! Today, we shall storm the city of Infernatus and dispose of the heretic filth that cower within! Today is our victory day!” He was answered with the chant of all soldiers of Schlachtfeld, a deep sound from over a hundred mouths. “Commend our souls to the emperor, for a glorious death. To war For Schlachtfeld, for right. “ Erik nodded, then turned and marched out, followed by his men. The tramp of armored boots was loud in the long, muddy trenches. Turning to face the giant gate, Erik looked to his sides, where his command staff stood by. Apothecary Varius nodded, and then turned to check his medical bag. His old bodyguard, ex-felon Gerald, made sure that his modified autogun was loaded. Turning back to watch the gate, the platoon ducked as a whole as long-range artillery was brought to bear, like every day for the past five weeks. Gigantic shells slammed down and tore up the walls, which grew horrid scabs, no doubt due to an invocation of the heretic sorcerers inside. Suddenly, with a screaming roar, a shell hit home. Flames roared from the new opening, and Erik took this as his queue. Rising up, the men of first platoon rush forward while the enemy reeled from the quick assault. Bayonets flashed as muzzles barked, the men moving quickly and efficiently to dispose of the traitor filth. As Erik slashed down with his ordinate rapier, he noticed that they were not fighting only traitor guardsmen, but mutants as well. Mostly stooped, filthy monsters, they possessed a massive amount of brawn, and could easily kill a soldier. They were just very slow, and most suffered from a small brain capacity. Continuing his assault, Erik watched as two men fell to the raging attack of a mutant. It had two heads and at least five arms, all capable of killing men. Charging into the fray, he screamed a battle cry. ”Abhor the Mutant!” With a swift linking of slashes and stabs he cut it to pieces, and removed the things head, and yelled to his men,” Let the citizens of Schlachtfeld remember us as we are buried with the Sepulcher of Heroes!” Purge the Mutants of their sin!” As his men brought their weapons to bear, Erik smiled grimly, and he charged again, blade dripping with gore. He would not be responsible if they had to forfeit the battle. He would not be banished. His men would carry the day, and if he died, he would be interred and remembered as the man that opened a passage into Hive Infernatus. Not turning to look back, he had his vox-caster radio his success back, and then they continued, slipping through the habitats as ghosts of war and vengeance.

Blog Entries: 1 | Allright, apologies! I haven't really been able to update this log because my dad took the computer out of my room, and it's the only one I like to use. So, apologies to those whom it ocncerns, and I promise that I will have new pictures by the end of the week, if only a teaser picture. I have finished squad one, and I am halfway done with painting squad two. Squad three is assembled, the command squad is half done. I can't wait to put up pictures, so I can get some advice. CMC

Ah, the GS masks.... I tried it, and gave it up. it just looks like they have purity seals upon their faces. The men in the second squad, at least the grenade launcher and his assisstant, have them. Massive failure, Imma try to pass them off as bandana's!

Blog Entries: 1 | News! Allright, I can't work on my IG too much because imma be at my dad's for a while. Anyways, so I wrote a quick story about the SMDK. I was watching an episode of Gangland by the history channel, so I wondered- what would a drug bust be like with the imperium? So this is one on a large scale. Enjoy! __________________________________ A hive city is a disgusting place, thought Trader David Mal. The dark-skin man wrinkled his nose at the putrid smell of piss and smog as his armoured car drove through the slums of Hive Armourus, Schlachtfeld Primus. As the car screamed along, Mal turned to a data-slate and quickly glanced over it's contents. This planet was the closet to the sun within the Schlachtfeld system, half forge world, half hive. Most supplies were inported from the neighboring star sysem, where Mal's home world, an agri world, resided. This made it easier for him, a drug trafficer for a secret cartel. Right now his men were sneaking in thousands of tons of an illicite drug known as "Cerebella", a powerful narcotic, into the planet with hopes of starting a drug trade here, and on the planets of Schlachtfeld Aurea and Schlachtfeld Maximus, a shrine world and the capitol of the system. Mal smiled grimly to himself- if this went through, his cartel's profits would quadrupel in size and he would be assured a powerful seat of power. He felt his car come to a stop, and he stood up slowly. Brushing some crumbs off the front of his velvet shirt, he pulled a leather blast-jacket over himself, and stepped out an open door. Ten guards, armed in powerful carapiece armour and military-grade hellguns, flanked him and marched in two lines to each side, the purple and black of his cartel a statement of power. His personal assisstant, a cherub-servitor, carried a locked chest in it's chubby arms. Mal approached a tall, white building displaying a sign of the "Agriculture Alliance", and slowly stepped inside. It was highly ornamented, a rich rug on the ground, brilliant tapestries hanging from the walls. He flashed the receptionist a chunky ring, and was immidetly admitted into an elevator. Slowly they rose up, listening to a damnable music as they ascended to a floor in the hundred-twenty's. Stepping out, he was greeted by an extravagent sight. At least twenty meters away, a man sat at a brilliant desk. He slowly stood up, portly and pale. Mal had heard of him- this was a trading tycoon, the man that helped deliver food to the people of Schlachtfeld Primus. "Trader Mal?" The man inquired. Nodding, Mal strode forward and shook the man's sweaty hand, feeling cold silver against his fingers. He smiled as gently as he could and replied," I am. Are you Lord Volix?" The man nodded, and waved him into a seat," Sit down my boy, we have important buissness to discuss." Leaning forward, he poured two glasses of Amsac, and pushed one into Mal's hands. "So, Am I to believe that you have the shipment?" The man's voice was hushed, as if someone might hear him. Mal nodded and sipped at his glass. "Yes my lord- over a thousand tons of Cerebella are within my ship, in orbit right now. Am I to believe that you have my cartel's money?" Chortling, Lord Volix nodded and sipped slowly," Of course, of course. One moment- Felonius!" A servitor appeared at his arm and bowed it's unsightly head. It had eight legs, the front two clutching a giant case. It placed the box on the table, and with a click the top snapped open. Mal had to supress himself from gasping at the large amount of Imperial credits that lay inside, and the old man smiled," Ah, so we have our deal?" ______ Thousands of feet below them, twenty five huge transports screeched to a halt in front of the "Agriculture Alliance" building, each one stamped with a brilliant runic cross, the letters S, M, D, and K on each plain. The two guards looked at each other, then slowly appraoched the long line of vehicles. Suddenly, the backs opened, and men dressed in matt-black armour, helmets, and blue fatigues poured out. About twenty men per transport, little less then five-hundred men poured out, all armed with black assult shotguns. A group of five swept forward, the leader brandishing a large warhammer and a golden bolt-pistol. One of the guards stepped forward slowly and asked," What is your buissness here?" The captain walked up slowly to him, until his forehead was pressing against the guard's. His face was heavily scarred, with a long mane of blond hair and icy blue eyes. The sharp blast of a bolt-pistol went off, and the guard exploded back, his chest gone. The other guard was quickly turned into a bloody pulp as three shotgun blasts tore through his body. The opposition removed, Lord Guardian Adolphus Hess of the Schlachtfeld Military Disciplinarian Korps entered the building, followed by the army of men. ___ A sharp ring went off as the vox inside Lord Volix's room chimed, and Mal turned to it, displeased. Volix turned on an image, and they both gasped at the sight that beheld them. "Lord Guardian," Volix gasped," What are you doing here?" The man spat onto the ground, and replied with a thick germanic accent," You know damn well why I am here. We know of your dealings, and now it is time for you to pay the consequences. You will come down here, and you will surrender, and you will be arrested. Do you understand?" The noble's face turned red, and he roared, spittle flying from his bloated mouth," Who do you think you are talking to?! I am your lifeline, I am your life!!!" A pistol pressed against the screen, and the snarled response shook Mal to the core," You have just signed your death warrant. Expect me in fifteen minutes." A giant roar went off, and the sceen blinked in as static. Lord Volix stood up quickly, and waddled over to a display case. Smashing it with a strength unnatural for a man his age, he pulled an old hunting rifle from the shattered glass. Loading a magazine inside it, the man growled and spat into a vox-caster," Prepare the defenses! I shall not be thwarted by an arrogant officer!" Mal watched him warily, and drew a small autopistol from his coat. He knew off the Disciplinarian Korps, they had ki |
