Sorcerer Lord Korosain's Thousand Sons (WIP) - 40K Terra

Greetings all,

Well I finally got around to taking some pictures of my little project for this month. On the 26th of this month there is a 1,750 point tournament and I am determined to complete this army before than. I have a tendency to bring unfinished armies to Tournaments. I don't care much about winning, I just like to build Models and Play the game. So for once I have decided to surprize all my friends and opponents and bring a fully completed army.

The following are just a sample of what will grace the pages of this blog in the days to come. Please let me know what you think and I always welcome Constructive Criticism and coments on my work.

With out further ado the pictures you all crave so dearly, plesae enjoy.

My Deamon Prince Kal'Jolen

I wish I could have gotten this one to turn out better, but I had to do some GS reconstruction on his neck. I orginally was trying to put a different head on the model, but to no avail so I went back to the head that was supposed to be on there. Of coarse by that time I had cut away some of the neck so I had to reform it.

This is as close as I could get to his elbow with out it being over blurry. I had to construct the Elbow entirely out of green stuff. I looks freakin sweet in person I hope that they image + paint later on will do it justice.

Here are some things that I am very proud of... not quite finished yet, a little GS work, but soon. This is part of one of my raptor squads. Sorry I haven't named them yet.

And last but not least one of my 3 squads of Thousand Sons with sorcerer. Once again sorry for no name yet.

There you have it folks. I hope this isn't to many photos for one entry, but last time I tried to post two different threads I guess it was kind of frowned upon. If any one has a problem with this please PM me and let me know and I will break them up into smaller, more managable threads.

Looking good bud,looking good but yet kinda familiar

.Cant wait to see these bad boys all painted up.Like the wings on the Korosain guy looks pretty sweet.

Thanks Man! Yeah it has been killer on my back. I haven't done serious modeling for quite some time and I am not used to being hunched over my workshop table. But so far I am very pleased with the results.

Thanks Relik... by the way does any one know why my pictures are showing up as links rather than in the posts. I did the exact same as I have done for previous posts and those showed up just fine.

All I did was clikc on the insert image icon and then pasted the Photobucket link into the box. But for some reason this time it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated,

All i do is copy my image code from my PB account and then psate it in my thread.

You have a lot of work in front of you my friend. I like your Prince very much, the pose is nice and dramatic.

Your raptors poses are also very cool, but I was wondering why the different styles of wings?

Looking forward to seeing some paint. What will be your color scheme?

Because of my time restraint and lack of having 10 wings all the same style I had to go with 6 Gargoyle wings and 4 Vampire Bat Wings. The 4 Vampire bat wings are on the Special weapons guys so they are extra special

I am thinking of doing a Blue/Green/Gold scheme on most of them, with big colorful wings on the prince.

I tried modeling some flame in the palm of the Daemon Prince, but with little success so I am thinking that is going to be a future project when I can afford more trial and error and time.

Been sick the past few days so not much work has been done, but this weekend I want to start hitting these guys pretty hard so stay tuned, new pics of whole army assembled and the start of painting coming to you soon.
