 | The lord is based on the marneus calgar model. I loved the whole grand stature of his model... I just had to use it. Right arm is just a thunder hammer arm with the hand cut away and the combi melta from the commander kit stuck in place. He's being going on forever, he seems to keep getting stuck to the back of the queue of items to be completed. I still have my wgbl in termie armour to paint. I'll show pics during the painiting process, as he's in undercoat and trying to get pic will be a knightmare. He's based on the Archeron model, with a empire general head (with the eye patch - more pirate influences) and asrael's combi melta.

Blog Entries: 5 | So I see. A quick point of fluff: Death Watch Pad on the left, crux on right. The Chapter symbol for Marines is always on left, with honors/insignia on right, and when one is a deathwatch veteran, the Deathwatch symbol over rides Chapter. The crux would be on the right, or the Great co. symbol or some such. At least, that is what I remember, Wolfpack would know better.

| Erus my son, you are correct...it is good to know that my teachings are not forgotten...the DW shoulder overrides the crux...and the chapter badge goes on the right...and following the WYSIWYG rules the termi has a crux on his knee so having two is kinda a moot point...also note that the SW are one of the few chapters that 'debase' the iconography on their standar armor to make it more "wolfie"...(oh and my third pack of WG are all Deathwatch veterans...which is why they are the personal retinue to Logan Grimnar himself)

| Fair comment. I'll think about changing. They are magnetised, and It's most likely he will use his assault cannon the majority of the time, so I put it on that shoulder to make sure it was always on him Point taken on the iconography and it need more wolfing up. Totally agree... now that's anoth job to add to the list  A full retinue of deathwatch vets... No there is a thought (project itch kicking in... better get the cream).
