Just a few points. All interior details, so I can get away with it for the time being.

Also turn your iChat on. Then we can instant chat whilst we work. I've not got msn here. I've got both my accounts on (there is my normal video account and the one I have on the laptop).

So the rhino begins.

Starting with the Paint station

Base coat

First highlight

Final highlight

Next step will be getting all metal parts blacked again.

*EDIT*

Here we go.

Metals finished and weathering finished

And finally finished article. Apologies for the lighting, it doesn't help the photo.

Hahaha..

'flappy thing on the front' - Is that the technical term, oh Masterful Iron Priest?

Aye sir... we'll have an Astropath inform the Fabricator General to annotate the STC machines on Mars to name that part 'the flappy thing'

Good spot Hairy! I know it took me three weeks to paint my last tank! It's because he has honed the Dry brush, and I have to admit it gives it a realistic look.

[EDIT]

Just realised Hairy, the vision Ports are the "flappy thing" I was wondering what that was!

Thanks Hairy, great spot. Obviously done in a day means, that I blatantly miss critical bits.

*Dons finest ye olde world villager voice* What is this majik you talk of? Vision ports? What be they? I hear strange talk in these areas saying that might be the flappy thing...

Wakim - next on the done in a day challenge is going to be the FW vindicator. Blue grey and lots of metal. So easy painting.

Right update time. I'm hoping that tomorrow (Sunday) I'll get my Vindicator done in a day. I was hoping to paint, but I ended up coming into work. Talking of which... Better head home now.

So pics tomorrow, if not I'll self flagellate before Erus can get the stick in the vicinity (may be that'll stop him).

I've not seen a post yet hairy... well hang in there the painting time will return.

So I've completed the FW vindicator. Pics to follow. It's been a hectic day. Painting and Crimbo shopping in one day.

It actually took me around 3 1/2 hrs for the vinni. It's not fully finished yet. I've got to do decals and the like, but it's usable without for the time being.

I'm hoping to finish a Land Raider next weekend and possible complete 1 from base coat to the end (inc some interior work as well). So why all the frantic tank painting recently? Well I've just bought a house that needs quite a bit of work so I'm going to see my weekends disappear very quickly.

Pics soon and fingers crossed for next weekend.

Yes.. Go work. Don't make me enforce another 'for your own good' ban.
