|  The Vampire Counts Well since i hope to work for gw one of these days im going to start a fantasy army of Vampire Counts, but it wont be a normal one im going to convert all zombies into less vampires and all skels into....well ill leave them the same since there classic. Have you ever worked with Inks or highlighting. With a few simple passes of the paintbrush you could really bring this guy to the next level. Just a sugestion/question for ya. Servo

| Re: The Vampire Counts i would use chestnut ink on the armour, and then use a mithril silver on the edges/tips I would also use a dark ink on the cloak and then drybrush snake bite leather over it with a final drybrush of 50/50 Snake bite and bleached bone Its looking good though – look forward to more!

On the skin I would use a light ink of some sort of chesnut or light brown ink to really bring this bad boy to life. If you want the more ghastly look than use a 2/1 mix of water and Green ink and then highlight with a putrid flesh or some form of off white/pink colour. Hope that helps, Servo

Blog Entries: 3 | Re: The Vampire Counts That should be done w/ GS or such, and I meant on her face, skin, etc.. Ifyou aspire to be a staffer, you need honest criticism, and your paint is too thick. Old court dresses or not (european history major, I know them) the 'thick' effect therein would be achieved best by modeling and putty. Thick paints only makes your overall job sloppy looking and obscures detail, and your talent and skill may be un-honed yet, but it's there and it deserves better.
