T-Shirt Design - 40K Terra

Hi I need a few Ideas for a T-shirt project. The shirts will be worn to various locations/events to advertise the site.
I need a picture to go on the front (nothing that will get the GW legal department all flustered-remember copyright and IR) and a suitable quote to go on the front as well-Im considering just using the stock quote from the home page, but Im open to ideas.
The picture doesnt have to have the name of the site or the address in it as these will be elsewhere on the shirts but it does need to be eye catching.

Hey Pert, lets talk about the shirt design

. We will be needing this done and we have Erus who has some connections to shirt printing i think.

The quote for our site is good, as long as it fits ont he shirt =D!

About getting some designs for us.. well i guess we will just have to hand draw/photoshop some stuff?

our myspace picture on the chest of a black tee (or white, not sure of the ease of colors, etc...)

The url on the back

'Please don't feed the Stitch!" under it!

Please comment on what can be improved. Oh, and after looking at GW copyright, it says the following;

"...the Double-Headed/Imperial Eagle device... ...are either ®, TM and/or © Games Workshop Ltd 2000-2006"

So technically the 40K Terra logo is Illegal

hey ikarus, i'm liking these...

maybe not the last one though, the aquila looks almost uncomfortably high on that one..but i like the quotes on all of them even though i could barely read them in these pictures..not bad ! :]

I love the new Logo Ikarus!!! I like the 2nd one, though I think it would be better to arrange it like this:

Honour By Duty
Glory Through Death

That layout breaks it up a bit better, and allows th text to be made bigger.

If we go the online way (so everyone can order worldwide I guess) We can do this design very very soon (next week?).

Just gives us a bit more costs and its through a third party, so we don't exaclty know how the shirts will turn out. I'll check into this matter.

any progress on this? what are we looking at for costs and shipping? any ideas of possibly having a rep in each major country involved locating a local shirt maker and being the contact point for that country to cut down on international shipping costs?

i like the shirt but if it comes out of the UK and im in the US i'm not so hot on paying the cost to ship it here. i could have something made here and shipped in us/canada for cheaper.

Hey grip, would oyu know any local companies? (I live in Seattle, WA and I am the administrator.

I think we will have to shoot one up in europe with Cagarner and United States and North America will be covered by me. This plan has been halted, but we can go forth with this if we can find someone to help out.

i know of a couple little locals down here in the tacoma area. i havent deal with them personally but have seen them around and i can always check with the local game store (not gw).

do we have a confirmed design we're going with? if so could i get a copy of it. i can take to the local shirt makers and get you some quotes.

here's a link to a local embroidery shop here near me. i found it in the local business directory for the local area. i checked it out thier main page deals mainly with sports however if you click on one of the categories and then go to thier catalog they do screenprints for tshirts as well. no price quotes up here so i'll have to try to get ahold of them and see what kind of deal we can get.

also any idea on the quantity we're looking at doing? if its on an as needed basis we'll be low on thier priority list and probably wont get as good a deal no matter who we end up dealing with.

Ericka is asleep, but when she wakes up i'll ask. She has a few contacts in the shirt business due to airbrushing for so long. But the same questions as Grip here has apply to me as well.

Ok we can do a few things.

1. draw concept sketches, i ahve a friend hten who is adept as photoshop and drawing who can touch up our picture and render it to nice standards.

Hell we could even have some sort of logo, like a space marine or something?

2. talk to cag about some designing

3. have your old emperor try something out..

Once we get designs, we will get a heads up count to see what we need quantity wise.

I love the T-Shirt Idea. With Gamesday in Chicago coming up I would love to sport the Website.

I really liked Ik's shirt design. But Im thinking a Black polo, with the logo on the Front Top Left, kind of suddle? Then the saying on the back.

Maybe the same type of shirt but a few with different sayings. (that way you collect them all lol)

Def go with the black and gold though
