40kTerra Raffle Questionary - 40K Terra

Ok I am just checking interest to see if any people up here in 40kTerra is interested in running a little raffle that will start small then maybe go big, if we want it to be.

I am gaging interest, and want feedback. let me know~

Lets get it on.

The 40kTerra Raffle- Raffle 1 is just a freebie that anyone can participate in. Raffle 2 will be a raffle that will be handing out a larger prize. The amount of prizes are prospects (It is dependent on the number of raffle tickets sent out). Please note that all proceeds will inadvertently help pay off our server fees, vbulletin fees, and upcoming new features to 40kTerra!

(Which you will hear a lot about in a few days, I have a new announcement post coming on a new staff position, and a few crazy ideas)

RAFFLE 1 -

Prize = Blister of your choice

Entry - FREE TO ALL MEMBERS.

RAFFLE 2 -

Prize = 2 winners
-1x Squad Set (35$ value)
-1x Squad Set (35$ value)

Entry - 5$ raffle ticket.

If we can get a lot of participants, we can either release a 3rd winner, or buff up the prize of the 2 winners.

OR

if we really want to, we can have 1x buff prize, for 1 winner only.

Now that that is out of the way, i think that if we get more people into the second lotto, we should add a third price

makes sense, more people, more prises, even if it isn`t a 35$ squad pack

But that`s just me

At a certain game that we play around here

if there`s more money and there are more participants, we first add a new price, then increase the existing ones if there`s enough $$ to go around

1-2 months, what would you suggest?

This one would end near some holiday or a week or two before (so the winner can get the item before xmas!)

sounds great to me, a bi-monthly raffle sounds like a good way to start.

If a lot of people sign up for it then perhaps you can do it once every month with larger prizes.

Having it up and ready before xmas and the package arriving at the lucky winner by the holiday would be really nice

Though it`ll slightly overshadow the whole secret santa thing... Must ponder.

PS 5$ doesn`t seem too steep.

na, it's just an addition to. Nobody's going to complain since one is free and the other is random.

speaking of random how do you plan on picking the winner? please don't tell me we have to do a 1000 word essay

If we get tshirts done, we will raffle out 2-3 t-shirts then.

As far as winner. I will write down a name per raffle ticket purchase.

Then pick the winners by hand.

I'm in as well, i would also suggest a $10 raffle with a 100 participant maximum 1 ticket each unless they dont sell out then those who have bought will get the opportunity to buy a second.
