Wink 1500-2000 Pts Space Marine

Some one on here said they wanted to see a list so here it goes. Take in mind this is a rough 1500 list, and i dont have my codex with me so here it goes

HQ: Jump pack chaplian (Possibly Tigurius)
Termi Honors
Articifer A
Master

Troop: x2 10 Man tactical squad
Launcher
Flamer
Termi Honors
Power wep.

Heavy: x2 Vindicators
Extra Armor
Smoke Launchers
(possibly Dozer blades depending on game)

10 Man devastator squad
x2 Lasscannon
Multi-Melta
Plasma cannon

Fast: x2 10 Assault squad
termi Honors
Power wep.
Combat Shield
Melta bombs
(i might put in plasma in one of the squads and a power fist in that squad)

Elite: Dreadnought
extra A
Smoke Launchers
(Assault cannon, CC Arm with storm bolter)

Venerable dreadnought
Extra A
Smoke
Venerable


Again this is a rought list so dont be so jumpy to say anything really harsh. So um What do you guys think?

First of all, give him a bolt pistol! all characters should have at least one gun! (unless a special CC person)

Troop: x2 10 Man tactical squad
Launcher
Flamer
Termi Honors

The missile launcher will be useless if you move with your flamer so I suggest you move it to your dev squad

Smoke Launchers

Nothing wrong with thsi

10 Man devastator squad

Multi-Melta
Plasma cannon
As I stated before, give them the missile launcher. Pehapse you should remove the multimelta as it only has 24'' range making this vunable to assult and maybe give is to the tactical squad

(i might put in plasma in one of the squads and a power fist in that squad)
Ehhh, I think the cobat sheild aint worth the points as it is only good in CC and the majority can't use it

i Do but i would like to say that my chaplian already had a bolt pistol it was a mistake in writing. Launcher is used just incase i feel like stoping to prevent whatever i might need in a game, but ill consider the melta. The C sheild is very helpful against chaos. Thanks for the help

Just wondering, but how it is helpful against chaos? I don't really see the point of a combat shield on a 1 Wound character... but that's just me.

As for comments... I really destest the flamer Missile Launcher... its the worst Combo, IHMO.

If this was my army... I'd cut down on all the extra stuff and focus on tactical squads... they are your most important units. Through Powerweapons and Powerfists on all your tactical squads, its worth it and not to costly. I would avoid mixed weapons in your dev. squads... all missile launchers is best IHMO.

Second of all... do you really need two dreads? Dreads rock, but they can be a bit light... and two ven. dreads is a bit much... one of those dreads could be replaced with a tact. squad.

Ya... so those are my opinions.

Cool Re: 1500-2000 Pts Space Marine

The Dreads are awsome, theyve helped me win tournements, i can move them up the field, shoot with assault cannons, as their move i have 1 or 2 tactical squads moving up and protected, my dreads are so grreat sry but this has all been tested through trial, thanks for the input

really? I would think that it wouldn't take to much... in a 1.5k army, a single pred could take both your dreads out in two turns... while the dread couldn't touch the pred...

But, what works for one player doesn't work for others.

they can, but the game is also about positioning, my dreads can take out preds real easy
