Sarge – Powerfist, Bolt Pistol, Frag Grenades Total Points – 206 Points Rhino – Extra Armor, Smoke Launchers Total Points – 58 Scout Squad x 6 – CCWs. Bolt Pistol Vet. Sarge – Powerfist, Bolt Pistol Total Points – 106 Points Total Troops: 633 Fast Attack Landspeeder – Heavy Bolter, Assault Cannon Total Points: 80 Lanspeeder – Multi-melta Total Points: 65 Total Fast Attack 145 Points Army Points Total: 1496 Points Final Notes: This is my first list with lots of Rhinos in it. For a while, I’ve actually preferred Inflitrate, but, after playing with a 650 point IG army, I’ve decided that Rhinos can have their advantages (my Chimera, though defiantly a much better offensive unit, was pretty useful). The one thing I was concerned about was the fact that I don’t have enough bodies… I shaved off a few units (an extra Melta Speeder, 2 termies, a heavy flamer). Hopefully, the extra bodies I managed will be enough.

| Overall, I like it. I would watch posting the costs of rhinos with upgrades, GW may smite us for it. I really do like the list here, though I would (as I did with my rhino force) make sure you have at least two beefed up long range squads to lay down cover fire, or some vicious heavy support. Overall, a list that looks very competitive and viable. If I remember the 'Die standing' drawback I would advise against it, and also might suggest something like 'Eye to Eye' or something. Usually when I take my drawback, it is something I don' really like, so I have an excuse for not including it (in SM this is usually bikers or speeders). If you don't intend on using a Librarian, check out 'Have faith in suspicion' or maybe even 'Pride in your colors'. Just my $2.02 though. |

| thanks man... actually, Die Standing is pretty good... no drop pods is all it means. And I don't want to convert drop pods or buy them from forgeworld. Another great drawback is We Stand Alone.

Blog Entries: 1 | it looks like a good list. lots of manouverability with some decent medium/short range firepower. Im a little worried that such a small unit of cc scouts wont survive for long and theres a lack of long range anti-armour support but I suppose thats surmountable with some clever use of that landspeeder mounted multi-melta and the tactical squads melta guns. One change I would suggest is getting rid of the terminators heavy flamer and giving extra armour to the dread and a teleporter homer to the scouts- because your dread really needs to make it close to the enemy to have maximum effect and that armour should help him do so whilst still firing, and with the homer those 'vulnerable' scouts can bring that points heavy terminator unit directly into the midst of the enemy when they assault (or at least close enough so that the big guys dont have to slog through all that enemy firepower. Other than that minor change I cant see much wrong with the list other than what you've already realised yourself- lack of meatshields...sorry warriors of the emperor ![]()
